Iran's Nuclear & Uranium Situation

how does what is happening in Iran today fit into Bible Prophecy? or does it? are we to assume that Iran eventually gets a nuclear bomb(s) and convinces other countries to attack Israel? and the Lord protects Israel, and triggers the events leading up to the 2nd Coming?

The belief that Iran has ever intended to ship their material elsewhere, or desired to use it for peaceful purposes is beyond nieve.

I can not see how this does not possibly fit into the time line somehow... time will tell....

I will search, I recall quoting it clearly... i thought it was quite extrodinary at the time. I will look for the exact phrasing, unless it was edited out I should be able to find it....

Ezekiel 38 and 39, the war of Gog of Magog hasn't happened yet. It says that the Middle Eastern countries listed, there's about ten of them, will all come against Israel, but they will fail, because God sends an earthquake. Ez. 38:20 fire brimstone, etc.
The reason we know it hasn't happened yet is because after it is over it says that "Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God."
And then after that they build a temple. It's huge. And the last verse says 48:35 It was around about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is there."

Well, we know that hasn't happened yet, so it is a future battle as well.

In Ez. 38 listed among the countries is Persia. That's Iran. And it says they are all carrying swords. That seems a little odd. Why swords? Why not nuclear weapons? Electro magnetic pulse bombs knocked them all out, maybe?
We can hope.

...Iran is allowed to get nukes and uses them on Iraq and Afghanistan against US forces, thereby eliminating the elements of our forces that are allotted for overseas duty.

Perhaps, Iranian nukes are also used against the US mainland, without effective response, this, in addition to serious degradation of our other overseas units, would cripple our ability to undermine any world crisis effectively.

We might be able to defend Conus, but the rest of the world would be at the mercy of anyone who had the fortitude to try to take it.

I'll give you three guesses who the aggressors will be.

As far as Biblical Prophecy goes, I think it fits perfectly.

Israel will not be nuked, as Jerusalem is the third holiest city in Islam. It will be attacked by ground forces, just as the Bible says.

After the US is neutralized. Just like Ahmadinajad said in his Oct 2006 speech.

Irans nuclear ambitions will bear fruit of nuclear weapons. There is nothing America can or is willing to do to stop Iran even if Obama says pretty please with sugar on top. So far when penny ante dictators have come out with the nukes America has placidly sat by and watched. Iran knows that America will do nothing and this is the knowlege that spurs them on knowing full well once they are a member of the nuclear club Irans accellerated arms race can procede unfettered. With America mired down in two unpopular wars and in a death grip of crushing debt Iran is assured that America can do nothing to stop them. China who'se growing economy is thirsty for oil has already struck deals with Iran trading arms for oil. Because China holds a rather large block of American treasury debt the dragon of the east can do as she pleases and should America protest China waves the mortgage to America blatently in front of the President.
China which has been stealing civilian technology from Americas' corporations ever since the Nixon era has surely been stealing military technology as well as was recently exposed by a Nasa scientist who was caught by an FBI sting operation a week ago. China's economic engine is turning out arms on a scale not seen since the American war effort in WWII. A new economic alliance is being forged between Iran and China. Once Iran goes nuclear they will put together an alliance of Muslim countries and go against the west and Isreal. When a nuclear Iran is revealed I am certian that Isreal will launch a strike against Iran and the game is on. White horseman saddles up and rides (see Revelation for details).
