Please pray for Philipp

I have a former student, Philipp, whom I taught when he was in the 4th grade.

He is now 17 and is in bad shape. He has lost both of his testicles to cancer in past few months. Now they have discovered cancer in his lymph nodes and serious blood clots in his lungs.

He is coming home from the hospital for a few days and they are scheduling surgery for the blood clots first.

It's not good.

And, to my knowledge, he is not saved nor is his family. This is burdening me.

Just picture in your mind a "rough as a cob" little country family. Please, please pray for Philipp's salvation and his healing.

P.S. (I have another former student who lost it all to testicular cancer when he was in his late 20's. He obviously struggles, but he copes rather well - now he is in his late 30's - so my hopes are that Philipp can, too. But my biggest prayer is for Philipp's salvation.)

I do pray for Philip for his healing and his salvation. I pray that the Lord will meet their financial needs too in this situation and that the doctors will have
wisdom in treating him. Jayne, may the Lord grant grace in both Philip and your other student as they face their lives ahead.

Dear Lord, open this child's heart to your gift. Let him see that you love Him. Almighty God, bring this young man into the family - another brother would be so lovely. Please Father, give him the comfort that only You can bring.

Praying that many doors to the Gospel will open for this young man, that witnesses will come forward, and that these circumstances will help bring him to the saving knowledge of Christ.

Lord Jesus, I bring Phillip and the other young man before You, please intercede to the Father in their behalf, bringing salvation, grace, and healing to them as needed. Thank You for hearing our pleas. Thank You for all that You are doing and will do in answer to these prayers for Phillip and the other young man. Praise Your Holy Name forever. Amen.
