Although this happened many years ago, I still love to tell how our wonderful Lord Jesus healed me.
I do not post this to bring any kind of attention to myself, I only want to exalt the most high wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The great physician, the great healer! The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, may His holy name be exalted above all names in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
MY HEALING TESTIMONY:
About 1997 I started having prostate trouble, which went on for several years. I had four surgeries on it over the next couple of years, which required me to were a Catheter complete with a bag strapped to my leg for weeks at a time. Then in the last part of Oct 2000 it really flared up and after the doctor had done all the examinations, I had to take the PSA test which came back with a very high reading. My doctor called me and said I need to see you in my office tomorrow. When I walked into his office I could tell by the look on his face it was bad news.
He said you have cancer in your prostate you need surgery right away. I said are you sure doc, he said I told you a month ago I felt the big lump in your prostate, now the PSA test come back very high, there’s no doubt you have cancer.
Since we live in a small town with a small hospital, he had already called a hospital in a larger town and was getting my surgery set up.
I had been on strong antibiotics for three weeks to no avail. I said doc, will you do me a favor and put me back on antibiotics for two more weeks, he looked at me like I was crazy. Then he said ,you have been on antibiotics for three weeks and just gotten worse it won’t do any good. You need the surgery as soon as possible, the cancer can get out of the prostate and spread into other parts of your body very fast. I said would you just please let me try, just two more weeks is all I ask. He looked at me like you are one block head. He said is that what you really want? I shook my head yes, he said alright it’s your life.
I knew two more weeks of antibiotics would not do any good, but it gave me two more weeks to pray.
Since the Lord set me free from being a drunk and saved me, I have made it a habit, not a habit , just something I love to do, study the Word of God.
When the doctor told me I had prostate cancer the scripture in Isaiah 53:5 came into my mind.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His Stripes We Are Healed.
I walked out of the doctor’s office repeating this scripture over and over. Everyday this scripture kept rolling over and over in my mind, I would wake up at night and say it.
I will say right here I am a Texas country boy, and still live in the country. I thank God for this for many reasons, but the main one is I have my own woods to pray in everyday. No one to brother me or no noise to put up with. As I prayed for others each day, I also prayed for myself, saying, Lord I know your Word is true and your promises are for today and for me, for I am your child through the blood of Jesus Christ your Son and my Master. So I claim your healing promise for myself in the Holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and by your stripes I’m healed.
I had two weeks two pray, the first week nothing happened, but I keep on praying and repeating the same scripture over and over. By your stripes I am healed. In the second week on a Tuesday in the middle of the day, I said the verse ( I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life) and I felt like something was bubbling up inside me as the living waters of the Holy Spirit flowed through me and a warmth swept over me and I was healed. When the healing hand of our Lord touches you, you know that you know, that you know.
I called my doctor and said I’m ready to see you, he said I want you in my office tomorrow. As I walked into his office with a big smile on my face he looked at me kind of strange. Are you ready to go get the surgery done, he asked? I said Doctor J. can we do the PSA test one more time before I go for surgery. He said you are one hardheaded patient. I talked him into doing the PSA one more time. Being in a small town he had to send the blood sample off to get done and got the results back three days later.
My phone ring on the third day, it was doctor J, he said I don’t know what happened and I don’t understand it. Before your PSA was very high, now it comes back .009, there’s nothing wrong with you.
Praise Jesus, glory be to God, I was healed, by His stripes I was healed. Our Lord is true to His wonderful Word , and by His stripes we can be healed.
Now I have to go each year and have a PSA test done. I had one in 2009, when the doctor’s nurse called me with the results, she said everything is fine. Your test came back a .04
Now only did He heal me, but He put an hedge about me to keep my healing.

Some of the things our Lord has healed me of.
A bad back. My back was so bad at one time in my life, I got out of bed one morning, out my back went and I was out of work for three months. A preacher came to our town for a three day revival. On the second night he said there is someone here with a bad back, the Lord just spoke to my heart that if they will come up now, our Lord will heal them. As he laid his hands on me and said, be healed in the holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth , my back started moving, popping, and then Bam! I was healed.
No more trouble with my back since our Lord healed me.
I use to have headaches all the time, I mean the kind that makes your eyes cross. I haven’t had a headache for years, since He healed me.
Prostate cancer. It’s been about 13 years since He healed me of this and I’m still healed.
There many more small things He has healed me of. I thank Him and Praise His Holy name everyday for His wonderful love and my healing.
His Word is true and He is a keeper of His Word, my prayer for anyone who is sick or hurting in any kind of way, may you be healed by His stripes and through His Holy name. Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
