"God created mankind and men created the gods. This is how it is in the world—
the men create gods and they worship their creations. It would have been more
appropriate for the gods to worship mankind!"

~Do not quench the Spirit ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:19~
~"So what hardship are you willing to endure, to see My will accomplished through you?"~
~Your relationship isn't knowing "ABOUT" GOD! Relationship is to "KNOW" GOD,
so that in the end and you stand before Him for the first time in heaven… HE KNOWS YOU~
~Do we, as Christians witness Jesus to the lost because we love Jesus? Or do we witness Jesus to the lost because we love them as Jesus loves them?~
~A prompting from God means that you are to DO. Thinking, causes you to... NOT DO!~
~Being on the tall mountain is where "you" go, to meet with God. Being in the deep valley is where "God" goes, to meet with you!~
100%
24 This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true.
25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. [Amen]
The only thing that is missing in some manuscripts is the [Amen] on the end.

The "Amen" is what is said when you agree with what is stated. It is a contractual thing similar to "I solemnly swear and agree to the above".
That is the reason for the "Amen". The translators added it....as did the copyists when they copied John's letter.
It may not have been in the original autograph....but...I don't mind it in a bible that I read.
Guys,
I keep getting posts I make that "disappear," so I'll post this again:
I do not have my Greek texts with their apparatus with me to discuss whether or not this text may be original or not. What GreekAsianPanda is talking about here is whether this is like the famous Johannine Comma (1 John 5:7, 8) which is almost universally recognized as not original. But regarding this text I can't tell without my Greek texts whether this is a textual variant of the type critical text vs. majority text (Byzantine vs. Alexandrian) or one due to the textus receptus, though I do believe this text is found in modern texts as well as the KJV, so it's probably the former. But I don't know what the arguments are, so I'll try to get back to this later tonight, or perhaps not until tomorrow morning.
But in the whole gospel of John there is only one major possibly deviant portion, 7:53–8:11, the famous pericope on the woman caught in adultery. But regarding the text content, all we are dealing with here is the use of hyperbole, such as we all do today. John is not actually saying that if everything that Jesus did were written down the entire world could not contain it. The point that John is making (in context) is simply that what John did choose to write about Jesus, as inspired by the Spirit, was carefully chosen to be evangelical in nature (John 20:30, 31).
John 20:30, 31 Now Jesus performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
The only variant that the NET Bible references, is the addition of "Amen" in some Greek manuscripts, which was a common addition by scribes copying manuscripts. I don't expect to find much evidence that these verses are suspect, or the NET Bible (found at www.bible.org) would have mentioned it. Probably the amen (ἀμήν) is questioned, but the validity of the verses themselves is not in question. It's original.

Well, for what it's worth, I looked it up. There are no Greek MSS listed as missing these verses. It's original. There is absolutely no doubt about it.
