This prayer was actually written DaniHansen. I'm putting it here as well since it is such a good prayer. Please feel free to add your own prayers.

Dear Heavenly Father:

I appreciate all my friends here, and I thank You for giving us a place away from the public eye where we can discuss topics that affect us and that are on our hearts and minds. But please continue to remind us that just because we're away from the public eye, doesn't mean we're away from Your Spirit's watchful eyes. Today, God, give us a renewed love for You and for one another. Forgive us for any unkindness we have shown to our neighbor that You have commanded us to love. Help us to be aware of the fact that Your Spirit is here, even now, and part of any conversation we enter into, and help us to honor You with our words and attitudes that we show toward one another. You have called us to peace, Lord. Help us to get our minds off the temporary things that are all subject to change, and help us trust You in all of these events that are happening all around us, that make us concerned and anxious and seek to rob us of our peace, that draw our attention away from Yourself. Help us to focus on Yourself, above all, and then revisit these issues with a new perspective, with Your perspective, and let that guide the decisions we make, every day.

I also pray for my friend Fenris, that You would open his heart and mind and help Him see your great plan of salvation, not to pull him away from his beliefs and his desire to honor you through them, but by adding to them and opening his horizons and enriching his view of Yourself and Your great love for him.

I pray for our leaders, God, for those You have set in authority over us, that You would give them wisdom to use their authority in ways that honor You, because one day, they will all have to give account to You. I pray that Your Spirit would deal with them, that You would speak to them, that You would deal with their conscience and that they would eliminate corruption from their lives and seek to find true solutions that ultimately benefit the Gospel of the Kingdom, that decisions would be made to play right into Your hand, to draw the people of our nation to Yourself, so that we might not place our trust in government, but in the God of heaven and earth who loves us and who gave His only Son for us. I pray that You would judge our laws, and that You would continue to work with our leaders to eliminate laws that grieve You, and that laws would be passed that will honor You and please You so that You would not have to judge.

I pray that You would not allow our own patriotism and allegiances to blind us to the fact that You are God of all the earth, and that You desire for Your Gospel to reach all tongues and tribes and nations, and that You would use all of us here to labor towards that end. That You would show us where the harvest is, and that You would make us willing laborers in Your global harvest of people who have such great need for You, just like we do, Lord.

I praise You Jesus, with all my heart, and I commit this forum and the people here right now to Your great care, and ask that You would use it and us for Your glory alone, and that You would steer our conversations as You wish, and that in the end, we will have greater fellowship with You and greater unity with one another, regardless of what may divide us. That we would come here seeking to give more of You to one another, and that we would walk away from here every day with a greater revelation of You in our lives.

Father,

I bring our families before You, right now. You have set guidelines in Your Word exactly how we are to conduct ourselves in our roles as husbands, and wives, and children. To honor You as our ultimate authority. Our families are under attack, God. Our marriages are under attack, every day. There is too much strife, too much resentment, too much anger and bitterness and despair and frustration, and we too often let things out on one another that we never should. Father, rebuild our marriages and our families on the foundation of the Rock of all ages. Help wives respect our husbands, in honor of You. Help husbands love their wives like Jesus loves His Church, in honor of You. Help our children obey their parents, so you can bring blessings into their lives. Help us look to You, every day, for solutions to our problems. Where we have strayed and given up, give us renewed hope for the future. Help us be the solution. Show us where we, ourselves, have fallen short of establishing Your order in our very own homes. Make our homes a refuge, and a haven, where You reign supreme. Help us forgive the hurts we have been caused, help us release Your grace and mercy into our overwhelming and difficult home situations. Help us seek You, daily, hourly, for strength and support, and help us repent and show us how to let go of the past, embrace Your ways to practice them in the present, and give us hope for the future. Help us to not become statistics according to the world but help us honor You. Refocus us, God. Back to Yourself. Back to our spouses and children, to establish a strong home base. Turn the tide around, God, and be our Anchor in the storm.
