Account permissions

I made my account over a year ago and it seems my permissions for viewing my profile and others won't show up. My wife and I are trying to find some original posts that I made so we can talk about some recent changes.

I tried looking in my profile to see the recent posts I either created or responded to but when I clicked on the one that showed up I received a permissions problem.

I just changed my email address and activitated my account again that way but the permissions didnt change. What do I need to do to have my permissions raised to view others profiles and my recently responded to or created posts?

You can't see your profile until you've been here seven days, have a non-negative reputation and have made 10 posts or more.

Your post count is currently 1 - a few months back we updated the software and a lot of old posts were archived as part of the update.

You've obviously been here longer than seven days and you have a positive reputation, so all you need to see your profile is 9 more posts.

I can see a couple of older threads you started in the archive - one from 2008 and one from 2007.

Thanks for the info. Can you direct me to the archive posts or how to search through the archives? My wife and I were trying to find them.

The archive forum is only visible to moderators, let me check to make sure it wasn't copied out of somewhere private and I can look to restore them for you to see.

Looks like you got a range of replies to them. The threads are now in the private Chat To The Moderators area, if you click in there they should be the only threads you will see. Let me know when you've got what you want from them and I'll put them back in the archive.

No I have always loved eagles. My screen name for forums is usually EaglezEye which I was thinking about asking if I could change. I usually use AFMarko99 or EaglezEye.

Anyway, I like drawing eagles as well. By the way I did have a pretty wimpy looking eagle from the generic avatars. I like this one much better. He looks like he is in deep thought which I find myself in.
