A few wedding pictures of my sister and her new husband

That is my son blowing bubbles at them..that is what we did instead of throwing rice ..lol. Also for some reason the groom's tux came out looking all lavender...his tux was white, but the vest was lavender. (edited..I adjusted the color and it looks better now) My sister had a white cover over her shoulders which covers up part of the wedding dress..she was cold inside..lol. She also had real flowers in her hair...kind of hard to see in this picture though.

Well...I am having problems trying to find this other picture...

ok found it..well had to resave it again.

That is my son Nate, getting ready to blow bubbles at the bride and groom. He is wearing a tux in this picture..he was one of the ushers and had to light the candles too for the ceremony.

Anyway this is all I have right now...mom was sending them too me and they were coming out so tiny you couldn't tell anything..so she retried and its much better. Sent it in a larger format. Right now she is out running errands so I have to wait until she sends more..lol.

    God bless

Wow Nate is getting big! Your sister looks very nice as does her husband!
Now where is a pic of you in your lavender dress?

    Love you lots,

I am still waiting on my mom or my other sister to send me pictures. lol. Like I said all I have is a film camera and I didn't get a chance to take many pictures because the photographer didn't want our flashes going off and messing up her lighting while she was taking pictures... So I did't even use a whole roll of film! So I gotta use that up then take it in to get developed...I am so behind the times!

Hopefully tomorrow I will get some more.

    God bless

Better keep a close eye on Nate! Girls are gonna start figuring out that he is a handsome..uh (How do they say it today?)...Oh! Now I remember. They'll figure out he is a 'hunk'!

    Lovely pictures, Moonglow!
    My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16

(Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)

Wow, Moonglow. I looked at the pictures before I read what you posted and my thoughts went like this - "Neat! Bubbles!! What a cool idea. And the bride and groom look happy. And the young man in the front of the photo looks like a model. I wonder if he's part of the catering crew or something like that where they search for handsome/beautiful people to be their 'face'."

You have quite a handsome guy there. I agree with the others - you'll be beating the girls off of him soon.

Thanks ladies. Of course every mom likes to hear things like that about their son (or daughter). I told Nate what you said..he said to Diggin's comment...too late.. At lunch time at school a group of girls always sits with him. lol. Some of the other boys will come up to him and ask to sit with him because of this.. Nate is taking a more mature attitude with girls and for now anyway, just being their friend. They seem to like that. I told him the mistake so many make going from one girl friend to another to another...he is already seeing this happening with other kids at his school and how fruitless it is. Maybe he is actually listening to me! lol He knows he is still so young and has plenty of time ahead of him.

Oh PS. that is my niece there behind the groom blowing bubbles too. And in that last picture the man standing with the door open is my mom's husband. Behind Nate are two cousins with their jackets off.

    God bless

Nice pictures, moonglow and a lovely couple.

How old did you say Nate is? He's tall and looks so grown up, but as I remember he's still very young isn't he.

He is 14..turned 14 last December. He is five seven I think? Probably a little over that by now. Yea he is making me look shorter and dumpery all the time...

Oh no.. he born and raised in Kansas.. I was born here too but raised in Oklahoma...kind of back and forth between the two states. Most relatives live here. He probably just makes you think of royalty with that tux on and Prince Henry and his brother being in the news alot in suits like that. Plus prince Henry is a red head too:

But we have English and Irish and a little German in us. Nate has auburn hair...brown hair with a reddish tint to it...my sister there in that picture has red hair though its probably kind of hard to tell in that one. Red heads run in the family. Last week I was helping Nate with his Kansas history homework and was truly surprised about all the English, German and Irish immigrants that came to Kansas...then it was like, oh! Now I understand how we have a mix of these in us...lol. The Rail road here really advertised towards these immigrants, promising religious freedom, work and other things that drew them to our state. We also have a great, great, great grandmother that was a Cherokee Indian which we think is why my youngest sister is darker skinned and has very dark brown hair ..though she dies it nearly black. Yet my two sisters and I have the same facial features....just widely vary in skin tone and color of our hair.

Anyway Nate will be thrilled to hear someone thinks he could be royalty...

I will see if I can but I want to get a better picture of him..like when they did pictures of he and I standing next to each other so he is facing forward..that would be funny. I hope I can do it with my paint program...I don't have photoshop but I can paste a picture onto another picture with it.

Julie, it was a beautiful wedding ... and you looked stunning! (And I LOVE your hair!)
Thank you, thank you for sharing with us!) Are you getting rested yet? By the way,
I did not see a hint of choking back tears, or tripping, or anything that you said went
haywire! In the pictures, it looked perfect!
