Thread: lol I got Nate good this evening...

    Wink lol I got Nate good this evening...

    Nate my son. He fell asleep before supper and I just couldn't get him to wake up...tried several times. Been kind of an exhausting week for him..last week of school..tomorrow last day before summer break. Anyway about eight I was able to wake him up and I said, "Nathan! Its after eight..you are late for school!" He kind of raised up and looked at the clock which did show it was after eight...he goes through groggy eyes.."Are you serious?" I could see the look of alarm started to creep onto his face thinking it really was morning. The light was low outside like morning.. But I was nice and said.."its eight in the evening!"...

    Boy did I get a dirty look...probably didn't help I kept snickering about it...

    Well...what can I say..since he has gotten older he is harder and harder to trick so I have to get what I can...but that was a good one...heh.

    Like that mom in the commerical cleaning the boys bedroom window...they woke up and thought it was a school morning and rushed around getting ready for school then were standing outside waiting for the bus when a crow says to another crow...'when do you think she'll tell them its Saturday?'..
