Side effect of RX

Last week I asked my dr. about a female RX due to age and post-menopause. A few days after I started using it I felt lightheaded off and on but I didn't equate it with the RX. After about 5 days, I didn't use it one night b/c I just didn't feel good and the next day was the only day I didn't feel lightheaded. So I looked at the product website and one of the first common side effects was being lightheaded. So I stopped using it about 3 days ago and have been fine except today, and I started feeling that way again. Not bad but a little bit.

So I would appreciate prayer that the effects of this RX would totally leave my body. Thank you.!

I will certainly be praying for you. Have you spoken to your dr and let him/her know the effect this medication has had on you?

Talk to your doctor, and maybe have your hormone levels checked before you take any synthetic hormones that you may not even need. Or that may be interacting with other meds you may be on.

If the issue isn't truly hormonal, you may be able to just take something for symptomatic relief in herbal form.

Thank you guys for your responses. I did want to clarify something. When I went to my dr for something unrelated, my BP was high (and it never has been before) so she wanted me to track it for a couple of weeks. Also, while I was there I had asked her for something for dryness 'down there" (b/c I'm 55, had a hysterectomy 6 years ago and never went on hormone therapy). Anyway the cream she prescribed is what I am 99% sure causing the lightheadedness. But I will definitely relay that information to her when I send my BP results tomorrow.

I would most definitely be interested in something homeopathic if she would recomend something like that.

But ever since my BP was high and then having this lightheadedness (which I think is unrelated to the BP) I have been filled with anxiety and fear which I know is not good. So really I need prayer also that I stay relaxed and cast my cares on the Lord.

When our estrogen hormones level drop it can cause anxiety and fear ...its upsetting to me anyway that hormones can play such a role in our emotions. My doctor had to try different HRT before finding one that helped me. The dryness is part of the pre-menopause problems...getting your hormones right will help with that. I have horrible, and I do mean horrible anxiety attacks when I first started going through the pre-menopause until I got on the right HRT.
