Anybody here love nostalgic things,or things look like nostalgic?

I must be a really old fashioned guy, because I like most things others don't like. When I went guitar shopping a few years back,I opted for a wood resonator guitar rather than a dreadnaught like I wanted.Reason? It looked old, with the hubcap design. And it sounds great playing bottleneck blues!

Then I went gun shopping,I bought a single action revovler. I went back and looked for a semi auto, but instead I found a Smith & Wesson .38 special. I bought when everybody else told me to buy a .357. I liked the history of the gun, having been around for over a hundred years. The FBI,U.S. Air Force and several police deptartments used them for years.

I've always wanted a straight razor, but taking blood thinners made me change my mind.
So what you all? What do you like that's old fashioned like?

I collect ancient coins. My favorite in my collection is an Athens tetradrachm from 550 B.C.

Dude, I like old bikes (Schwinn) Route 66 Items the older the better and that's it for now.
If Satan can keep us busy swinging our swords at one another, there is no hope of a united attack on the kingdom of darkness. KJV, NIV, ESV or ABCDEFG; there is no time to bicker over such things. We'll devour each other if allowed to continue. We should grab the marching orders written in the way we best understand and get to work.

I much prefer my horse to a four wheeler for tasks around the farm. I would much rather round up the cows, separate them, pr ride the fences with my horse.

I still use the very first present I received from my "then" girlfriend and who is Mrs. Slug today. When I was 18 she bought me a Shrade Uncle Henry lockblade knife. Lifetime warrenty. When I opened that knife I can still remember thinking to myself... yep, she's a keeper... Mrs. Slug, that is

Those are awesome knives! I've got a couple myself, though I had to purchase them on my own. I've given them as gifts before too. I agree with you on Mrs. Slug being a keeper! The Lord has blessed you with an amazing gift-giver!

Hahaha, I know what you mean, I actually played dominos with Cheech and it got pretty fun. Or Spades and she's not my partner... when I slap the set card to my forehead and leave it there half the hand and then when I finally do use it and her and her partner don't make their books, SUCH FUN!
