No, what makes you ask?
SHUT UP! DON'T TALK TO HER! SHE'S ONE OF THEM.
No she's not, she's a nice lady. Chill or no more Night Stalker re-runs for you.
BUT THEY MIGHT COME AND TAKE US AWAY...WE DON'T LIKE THE LITTLE RED PILLS. THEY MAKE US SLEEPY.
Go back to your corner and let me talk to the nice lady...
Um, no, Frecs, not babysitting. Why do you ask?
"MISSION: To rescue Christians enslaved by manmade religion and to bring them to the freedom of Jesus."
The song that lifts me up these days is "I Cling to the Cross" by Paul Baloche.
cling to the cross and everything it means
I know it's the only hope there is for saving me
For without Your great mercy
I would be forever lost
With a thankful heart I come
And cling to the cross..
.................The message of the cross divides the human race." ~MW~
........ ... " LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant..."
.................................................. .................................................. ...Nehemiah 1:11a
Not sure what Frecs and Rabbi are talking about, but just a reminder that this is a beautiful thread about songs that lift us up..and I'm thinking the OP might be meaning songs about the Lord?

Well i love music. But oddly the songs that seem to hit me the most in realtion to the message of God do not come from openly "religious" groups. It seems to me the most amazing messages from God through music come from groups or individuel artisits who do not put themselves forward as being religious singers.
I will give you an example: There is a group called Linkin Park, they do not put promote themselves as having anything to do with religion but the following song studded with Gospel themes.
Linkin Park "what i've done"...
In this farewell
There's no blood
There's no alibi
Cause I've drawn regret
From the truth
Of a thousand lies
So let mercy come
And wash away
What I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of what I've done
Put to rest
What you thought of me
While I clean this slate
With the hands
Of uncertainty
So let mercy come
And wash away
What I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of what I've done
For what I've done
I'll start again
And whatever pain may come
Today this ends
I'm forgiving what I've done
I'll face myself
To cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of what I've done
What I've done
Forgiving what I've done

Hear is another non religious song that is filled with lyrics that anyone would be happy to pray to God with.
Anne Murry You needed me
I cried a tear, You wiped it dry
I was confused, You cleared my mind
I sold my soul, You bought it back for me
And held me up and gave me dignity
Somehow You needed me
You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, You needed me
And I can't believe it's You
I can't believe it's true
I needed You and You were there
And I'll never leave, why should I leave?
I'd be a fool 'cause I finally found Someone who really cares
You held my hand when it was cold
When I was lost You took me home
You gave me hope when I was at the end
And turned my lies back into truth again
You even called me "friend"
You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, You needed me
You needed me, You needed me
All Praise The Ancient Of Days
A song that would fall under secular but still a type that faces you to God is one titled, "Broken" by Lindsey Haun. We have even played this song during our Breaking the Chains Ministry classes and is always a song well received.

~Do not quench the Spirit ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:19~
~"So what hardship are you willing to endure, to see My will accomplished through you?"~
~Your relationship isn't knowing "ABOUT" GOD! Relationship is to "KNOW" GOD,
so that in the end and you stand before Him for the first time in heaven… HE KNOWS YOU~
~Do we, as Christians witness Jesus to the lost because we love Jesus? Or do we witness Jesus to the lost because we love them as Jesus loves them?~
~A prompting from God means that you are to DO. Thinking, causes you to... NOT DO!~
~Being on the tall mountain is where "you" go, to meet with God. Being in the deep valley is where "God" goes, to meet with you!~
Bustin up old school...

For what mortal has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived? ~ Deuteronomy 5:26
If you're not prepared to risk your very life for your "enemy" you have no right to speak to him of love. ~ Daughter
Many say they are called... but I am pretty convinced that with many of them it was the wrong number. ~ Project Peter
I kind of have a problem being uplifted by Ray Boltz.
At a little church I used to attend we sang this little tune;
God's got an army marching through the land
Deliverance is their song
With healing in their hands
Everlasting joy and gladness in their hearts
And in this army I've got a part.
Psalm 19:14
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
