Her surgery went well. She has some weakness in her ankles from having the nerve root stretched due to previous placement and where things needed to be. We are hopeful in God that with time and PT that this will resolve. Please continue to pray for her. And, Ninja Kitty's a little better now too.

Surgery went well; she is sick the first day which put us a day behind in progress but she is much better. Her ankles and feet are weak as the nerve that operates movement of the ankle has not been in the proper position for many years. She is having to relearn to walk again and took her first 4 steps yesterday. Today, she is almost a pro at using a walker. The MD is still looking at the position of everything and will be running a few more tests to assure everything is functioning as it should. We are hopeful that everything is positioned well and will not have to be repositioned but that is a small possibility. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Thanks SFASH et al. She had a rough night last night as the meds made her delusional. Mom didn't get any sleep either; the doctor changed her medications but she is still a bit delusional, very very chatty and won't sleep. Hopefully she'll sleep tonight. She may have an infection but we are unsure at this point. Please pray for her continued healing and rest.
