I might ask you the same question... Do you own a car or home or even a chair to sit in? Did you ignore that command?

By the way, no, I do not own a car, nor a home. And the chair I am sitting in was in the home when I moved in it, so, no I don't own it either.

If Jesus told me to sell all my possessions, I would gladly sell them. I'll wait and see.

Your boast gives me cause to doubt your word. You speak boldly because you do not believe that He would.

Time to check your passion against the leading of the Holy Spirit.

With equal concern your boast creates doubt to the integrity of the statement.

I must have missed the love you intended to convey?

It's not a boast, it's showing that such an argument can be used both ways.

I must have missed the love you intended to convey?
    Ahh, don't worry about it.

I do own a home several cars & countless chairs. Jesus death & resurrection has freed me from being under the penalty of that and all sin. Apparently that is something you do not understand. That is why you lied in your answer to the question. You have great zeal for God but without understanding. The Pharisees were the same in Jesus time. Their zeal sent them straight to hell.

Having been down that road many times myself, I must ask how it benefits the body of Christ?
    Ahh, don't worry about it.

First let me say I am a non drinker all my life and I do not advocate drinking to you here.

These verses clearly imply that they were already drunk when Jesus gave them more. Anyone who is drunk will not be able to stay awake for long when the alcohol is gone. Also the master of the banquet would have known right away that it was wine or not.

    John 2:7 NIV

7Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
8Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
They did so, 9and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
11This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.
    "
    King James Bible
And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: [but] thou hast kept the good wine until now.

God knew that the master of the banquet would be disgraced if the Wine ran out, because everyone would leave and go home.

The other reason of the importance of alcohol is that it was necessary to keep any drinking liquids from going rancid and becoming spoiled with algae and other microbes. They did not have refrigeration to keep grape juice fresh. Water for long voyages on ships had to be mixed with alcohol in casks to keep it safe to drink. Also this is probably where wine was invented in the first place as fermenting was a form of spoilage.
    Luke 6

41“And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 42How can you think of saying, ‘Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite!
First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.

Jesus Christ son of God have mercy on us

I was not boasting. I was stating a fact. Learn to discern.

I did not lie in answer to the question. It is obvious you have a problem discerning the difference between truth and lie. Perhaps you should go back to studying God's Word a little more carefully.

The verses say the guests had well drunk, not were well drunk. The wine at that wedding feast was not alcoholic in content. Had it been, the guests would have been drunk and Jesus would have been adding to their drunkenness.

You buy into the fairy tale that Jesus served and drank alcoholic wine, you may as well change the words to the Easter song, He Lives to:

I serve a drunken savior, he's in the world today
I know he is an alkee no matter what you say
He loves when I drink beer and when the Vodka I do share
And when my shot glass is empty, with me he'll share.

    I'm drunk, I'm drunk, but that's ok I know
He drinks with me and pukes with me as down the road I go
I'm drunk, I'm drunk, Ihad to much again
But I'm still saved, I know I am for an alkee is my friend.

My bible says that Jesus turned the water into wine at the marriage at Cana. It was his first miracle.

No, it gives us a time that we are not to look upon the wine. When is that time? When it is red... when it giveth his colour in the cup... when it moveth itself aright.

This speaking of a fermented wine. We know this because of the next verse that tells us it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder.

You do know what a serpents bite brings don't you? It brings poison with it.

And the Word clearly instructs us not even to look upon that wine that is fermented.
So everyone who participated in the Lord's supper for the past 1,900 years or so (before they had grape juice) and used real wine were sinning?

    Proverbs 23 is describing winebibbers.

Sure. But not everyone who drinks is an alcoholic.
His nature and the reason He came to Earth reveals the wine He created could not have been alcoholic.
