Hello All,
Been reading these boards casually for a couple months now and decided to post my first question.
The Bible states that salvation is thru Christ and all that is needed is for one to believe that he indeed died on the Cross for our sins.
My question is, what happens to those who have never heard of Christ. All those young children sold into sex slavery and grew up knowing nothing in their life but the prostitution and drugs that were forced on them and never once were exposed to the Glory of Christ. When they die, do they go to hell, even if they were never exposed to Christ? Or even small villages in Brazil and other third world countries where they are still hunting with bows and arrows and never heard of Christianity. Do all these people go to hell??
I have a hard time believing that they can lead a good life, but never been told about the Gospel that they would be punished for all eternity, but the bible is pretty straight forward with what is required for salvation, so it would seem that these people would be punished for the failure of other christians to go out and preach the Gospel as we were commanded.
Thoughts??
