A real miracle healing!

Well actually He left just enough to keep me on disability........

I was praying about 3 weeks ago for someone who asked for God to answer her and no longer be silent....... and while I was praying for her, I just said boldly, yes Daddy I'd like to hear from you too...... maybe you can give me a sign? And POOOOOFFFFF all the pain was out of my legs....... I was very happy with that, although I was afraid it was temporary....... so I didn't share it yet here........
Now we're 3 weeks further and all the pain I have in my legs is from using them! Granted, I still need a special brace for my leg and I do have some bad backpains for the wrong way of moving (I'll need therapy for that too) but I am walking again! It took me about 2 weeks to feel secure again and now I walk alone in the house..... sometimes I need Charles to help me walk but most of the time I do it by myself...... I am now a great help in the house, I go to the kitchen and clean something or cut veggies for Charles or help him in another way, and I can go to the bathroom myself again which is so much better! I have also taken up myself to do the laundry again...... Charles still helps a bit but I love doing it! I even ironed a few shirts a few days ago, although that was difficult for my back....... I have to be careful anyway, because everything above my legs is not healed at all...... so I still have arm and handpains and bladderpains are there regularly too....... but for the most part I am at least a few hours out of bed in the daytime..... at least every evening after supper when we do Biblestudy....... depending on my bladder...... today has been a great day as my bladder didn't hurt....... so I could help out Charles a lot with laundry, helping to prepare supper (cutting everything (onions, sprouts and mushrooms)) and Charles also showered me.... I still do that sitting down when he washes my hair, but for rinsing and drying me I stand straight up! Everything is so much easier when you can stand up straight....... we've been exercising walking and standing together and although it was hard in the beginning and it is still not easy, we achieved so much that I didn't want to withold it from you all any longer.........

I have an appointment with the rehab doc on December 10, and then we'll see if I need a new brace and if I need therapy........ I'll ask for prayers when it's that time......

Even if it never comes any further than this, we're already happy with the progress....... usually when we go out, I suffer from that a day later..... and now: NOTHING! I can be just as active the next day!

So now you know why I am smiling so much...... I thank our Lord so much for this miracle! Even though He only partly healed me, I am so grateful for that..... and He was so right..... if He had healed me completely I would have been obliged to find a job and all that added stress...... now I can just stay home with Charles and enjoy the time we have together!

Thanks Daddy..... I can never thank You enough for this...... I love You!

Wow Mieke! That is the most wonderful news! Girl you have got to have the best attitude of anyone I know! I will continue to keep you and Charles in my prayers everyday!

Thank you all.....

Everything is going real well! I have my regular tasks in the house now..... I do the laundry all alone (except for big sheets), I also cut the veggies (usually onions, mushrooms and a vegetable) for supper, I make sandwiches for lunch, I set up the table for supper (drinks and everything else), I take care of our aviary (give the birdies clean water and a new bath and feed them and give them apple), we do the great cleanup from the aviary (new sand and so on) with the two of us now, sometimes I sweep, give the cats some clean water and do all kinds of other things in between all of this...... we cleaned up a room together (threw away a lot), and I clean up the kitchen (throwing away stuff too) and cleaning cabinets, 1 a day but still good...... and next Thursday when my maid comes we're going to clean up the bedroom, and then I have plans for the mess behind our hall curtain where the litterbox is...... wanna do that one real soon too! This all stands with good night's rests (which I have most of the time now I am physically tired), and in braces in the night (leg/arms) but that's ok with me.......
I still don't walk as I should, I don't "roll my feet" the way I should, but that will change with therapy I presume......
Charles has trouble with his shoulders and his grip so he was very eager to get some help in the kitchen and with the laundry....... so everything I do lifts his load and he's very grateful for that! He helps me still a lot, especially with explaining the Bible to me and showering me...... so we're quite happy together!

Glory to God in the Highest! Thank You Daddy! I love You!

Finally here is the proof that I can stand straight up:

Even a taxi round trip of 3 hours didn't break me...... had some upper legpains but they went away after a good night's sleep.....

Praising the Lord for His Mercy . . .

Thank you all..... It's going better and better..... I like kissing Charles in the kitchen especially....... makes quite a difference instead of him coming to the bed, I am going to the kitchen to hug/kiss him...... we both like that!

I am also more able to go out without having horrible pains afterwards..... if I do have pain, it's gone the next morning! Charles has some trouble with his arthritis so we don't go out too often, but when we do I enjoy it much more!

Daddy gave us two more little miracles this weekend...... Friday we went hunting for a fake Christmastree and all year round I told Charles I wanted a white one...... when we came at the shop we found a white one that we both liked..... guess what.... they had only 1 left!

And then our washingmachine (only a couple of months old) didn't work good....... we couldn't call anyone as they are not there in the weekend....... this night I suddenly thought of something that might help it........ and I did that this morning and there was a bunch of water stuck in the machine...... once I drained that all out, it was working great again! Thanks Daddy!

I just talked to Tina my friend who was out this weekend to an amusementpark with her boyfriend...... we prayed for no rain and good weather for them...... and they did only have rain when they left the park! So that's real good as they were close to a province where the river was overflowing because of all the rain.......... Thanks for that too Daddy! Tina had a great time too!

So all blessings here...... even if we have a "normal" day, we still have so much to praise Daddy for!
