Yea have I fallen in the valley of scattered bones,
whereat the follies of my life are found strewn,
where my flesh, through my sin,
For my righteousness is withered before the Lord.
My bones lie exposed as my virtue decays,
as the flesh of my corpse
Then came the dawn of a Rising Son upon the valley,
with power to save we that fell to our sin.
And the scattered bones moved,
And I beheld muscle and flesh laid upon each dry bone
so that all were complete, but still without breath.
till the Son’s warming light,
drew us all from our death.
For the hand of the Lord was upon us, to open our graves
and to lift us far beyond the pit of our sin,
that we who were once dead
