Let us not forget our Brothers and Sisters in Chains.

Oh Lord,

I thank You for the reminder to pray for our brothers and our sisters who are in chains. Lord please let us not forget them, for they are us. They are as much a part of our body as the one we sit next to in our assemblies each week.

Lord, comfort these precious children who suffer for Your Name Sake. Give them rest, provide them with food and clean water. Please Lord let then not dispare. Let them keep the faith You have given.

Father I especially ask for a blessing in the night. In the quiet times when they do not know what has come of their husband or wife. The mother who cries for her daughter, the one who does not know what has happened, or knows too well exactly what terrible thing has happened.

Lord I ask You to give them Your joy. Please let them know that we pray for them. Lord please break our heart for our brothers and sisters. Let us not pretend that a part of our body is suffering.

Give us YOUR heart for those who are persecuted and suffer for Your sake. May we remember them, and pray for them always.

I ask these things in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
