    Great Books For Married Couples

My husband and I have just started to read "The Power of a Praying Wife" and "The Power of a Praying Husband" (both written by Stormie Omartian). Each week, we discuss what we have read that week. Great books! I highly recommend them!

There is another great book for married couples called:"Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires; The Respect He Desperately Needs" by Emerson Eggerichs .

I think the workbook they give out at Catholic church pre-Cana courses should be required reading before getting a marriage license. That thing probably saved my marriage before we even tied the knot.

I LOVE "The Power of a Praying Wife!" Other books we have and are great are "The Five Love Languages," "For Men Only," and "For Women Only." The latter two are co-written by a husband and wife.

Another great book for married couples is the Bible....gives great instruction for how to live. The others listed are good for expanding on the Bible.
Come unto me all that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
