"The First Snowfall"

In grace descends purity the earth needs
Cover us with love, O, Heavenly seed
Angels of the air, lovers of the night
Hide the shame and disguise its sight

Take me high, wonderland of the sky
On your rhythm glide me by
Guided by eternal light
Yet so small, yet so bright

See the eyes of children crying
Hear the voice of reason calling
Waiting for you to show your face
On hills, barren landscapes and housetops you embrace

Wisdom we are lacking, wisdom we need
Teach us to love, O, Heavenly seed
With the leisure of calm weather
Bring the hearts ofv gladness together

Eternal light, so small yet so bright
Heaven vast Heaven of delight
You send a chill with the breeze
Up my spine as you clothe the trees
