Is the apple iPAD's memory upgradable or is all the memory you get, that which you buy up front?

which is better a black or a silver digital camera and why?

Oh well..

I thought this was a good question, maybe it wasnt. Now that I think about it, the
apple's iPods memory is not upgradable, so just maybe the iPads memory isnt upgradable
either.

iPod / iPhone / iPad is sold as a sealed unit, i.e. no upgrades available

You can upgrade it but it is no simple task. You have to replace the entire motherboard of the iPad. This will be like buying another unit as far as iTunes is concerned. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH... this is NOT something you should try unless you are a professional. The first time I did it, I broke my touch screen and I AM a professional with all the right tools.
