Nelson's after the re-open was never the same to me. I used to eat at the old Nelson's when Nelson Jr was there at least once a week. It was only a block from the office.
Tulsa theology may suck, but there are some tasty vittles there!
"MISSION: To rescue Christians enslaved by manmade religion and to bring them to the freedom of Jesus."
It's not really a burger joint, but if you really want to get stuffed, try their all you can eat catfish. Three sides, plus catfish and hushpuppies, coleslaw, green tomato relish, and you get to eat all you want for $11.99! They do have good burgers. For a true burger joint,Brend's Bigger Burger is good, but I don't know if it's still open. Neals has killer side dish of fried jalopenos!
Crazy Burger-Narragansett,Rhode Island is wonderful!

If you remember "The Fishnet" in Charleston, Illinois, contact me.
Oh, yeah. Good grub. I miss Shotgun Sam's Pizza and Crystal's Pizza... both long gone. :-(
Lotsa good hole-in-the-wall Mexican and a couple of great "Taco Trucks" parked in key spots. El Rio Verde off of I-244 and Utica was a favorite. Avalon Steak House out west... the list seems endless.
Coney Beach on South Memorial (121st St.) bought the recipes and rights to Rex Chicken and a few old Pennington's (Brookside nostalgia) items. Best onions rings in the first heaven, and fried shrimp, too.
BRAUM'S!!!! McGill's... PF Chang's... Schlotzsky's... Ike's Chili Parlor...
Five Guys is good when you can't get anywhere else. Give me a local Clock any day of the week.
Speak the truth in love. The truth without love is brutality.
