How many spouses on here?

Just curious. I don't get to be on this board as much as I would like, but I do love it. Whether I am looking for Christian advice, can be a help to others, or just looking for fellowship I have found it here. Whether I am in need of prayer, or needing encouragement in the word, I have found that here. Even when I just want to discuss the word, I can do that here also. I have tried so many times to encourage my husband to join this board, but he will not. Sad. He does not know what he is missing.

My husband doesn't like online chats, facebook, or bb's. The only thing he does online is business, banking and email.
He isn't a very sociable person, although he has to be (Asst. Principal) , but he prefers to keep to himself when he's not working.
That's just the way he is.

Maybe he actually isn't missing anything. Some people aren't as social as others, and simply don't need to engage in social activity as much as others do. He might just be a more introverted type, who find a lot of social activit tiring.

My wife has an account here but it is pretty rare that she shows up and posts - usually only when I'm going at it on a topic long and heavy and am talking to her about it, she might log in to give her two cents.

My wife posts here from time to time. But she's more of a personal conversation type of person.

I agree that not everyone belongs on a chatboard or online social network. I have suggested this board to my husband several times because
a) he has complained about not having Christian friends he can talk to
b) he complains that the only emails he gets are junk emails and forwards from me
c) this would give him opportunity to discuss the Bible, particularly end of time prophesy when he likes to get into
d) he likes to sit for an hour or so in front of the tv before bed but there's usually nothing on to interest him

Oh well. Maybe another time he'll be interested. Maybe not.

my wife-to-be has a profile here with a few posts under her belt but she is not much for message boards and whatnot. Neither am I really, but you folks are just so wonderful that it's hard to stay away.

I, and VHayes are one of a few husband and wife teams.

I haven't noticed much of an increase inor since I became a member.

My husband used to be a mod here together with me (that's how we met actually), but has resigned from that years ago as the taking care of me and the house and our animals didn't give him much time anymore to moderate....... he hardly posts on the board for the same reasons...... sometimes he posts but it is very sparingly........ but he doesn't mind that I still am a mod....... he knows how much that means to me.........
