Donald Trump for President? Will Decide by June

I don't see any Republican politician that may be considering a run against President Obama that can win as of right now, in my opinion. To beat him they will need someone who people don't see as just another politician. What do you think Trump's chances would be?

"It could be fun because I'd like to see some positive things happen for the country," Trump said of running for the presidency. "I'm going to make a decision probably by June."
Trump said he would consider running for president because "the respect for this country is just not there. I have many people from China that I do business with, they laugh at us. They feel we're fools. And almost being led by fools. And they can't believe what they're getting away with."
He said he would run as a Republican and could "very easily" spend more than $200 million on his campaign.
Trump acknowledged, "Would I rather be in the race or not be in the race? I can tell you, I love what I'm doing. I'm having a great time what I'm doing. I'd rather not be in the race." He said, however, he'd consider it if "the country continues to be taken advantage of by the world."

I am not a personal fan of Mr. Trump. I would really like to see someone like Gov. Christy decide to run. Or the governor from Texas. I am sure I could think of a few more names. Things is, the repubs can't do what they normally do and just put the guy/gal up who has put in the time and it's his/her turn. That won't work today like it has in the past.

Actually, I do not really think the Republicans could lose the election if it were today. Of the front runners, Palin is the only one I see Obama being able to beat.

Yea I know. I've heard him. Maybe we could draft him. If he doesn't change his mind soon, it will be too late. The campaigning will begin in earnest by this time next year and by then, it will be too late to fund raise.

Actually, I do not really think the Republicans could lose the election if it were today. Of the front runners, Palin is the only one I see Obama being able to beat.

Yeah, I was thinking that too but I've watched as his approval numbers have risen back up above 50%. They're not in the tank like they were back in November at election time. He's still a great campaigner and he's got plenty of time to do the Clinton hustle to the center. I don't think it's going to be as simple as just putting the next Republican in line up against him.

Trump doesn't have the experience.

I mean, he's started companies, held jobs, had to make payroll.

He's never organized a single community or been a junior senator elected by a political machine.

Doesn't have a chance, but is getting nice publicity for his brand, which is what Trump is always only all about.

I think we should elect a president much the way Donald Trump has his show The Apprentice. Give them jobs to accomplish and then let the people vote...eliminating one candidate at a time saying...your fired. Last one standing is "hired" and becomes the next President! Show us ahead of time what you got!
