c'mon.........If we believe this then I would not be able to see the meaning of any scriptures rather if they are symbolic or not!!! Especially the unbeliever, if we tell them the same above then what would they think of the bible itself? It would create much confusion when it is clear that it is a physical resurrection. I have no idea how you yourself know what to think is symbolic or real pertaining to scriptures.

Eze 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
Eze 37:13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
Eze 37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

If that is the case then in which city will God's tabernacle be with man for evermore?

God said when the new is established the former will not be remembered.

Ezek 37:27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Ezek 37:28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

The tabernacle is the city whereby there will be some which will come into through gates...... the city will be in the midst surrounded by the 12 tribes

    12 gates - 12 tribes

Re 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

Re 21:24 and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Re 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Re 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

Eze 48:31 And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.
Eze 48:32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
Eze 48:33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.
Eze 48:34 At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.
Eze 48:35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

So then the new earth is the same size of the city?

Why do you think there are gates into the city? The city is not blocked in, there will people people going to and fro.

Those without are meaning they cannot enter thru the gates.

Since Israel is back in the land now, the Great Tribulation is over.

Mt 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mk 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Will he not have to open the graves of the dead, will all men not know at that time who God is?

Contrary to Hal Linsey and others, these verses are not refering to the rapture of the church, but the return of Jews back to the land.

We understand what is literal and what is symbolic in the scriptures the same way we understand the difference when reading any other written material. We assume, first of all, that the author intends to be understood. With this in mind, we pay attention to the author's train of thought and when we come to things that sound strange, we assume that the author is using symbolic language to make a point, which couldn't be made any other way, or which would be highly inefficient another way. I would suspect that the reason why it appears to be a literal resurrection is because you have focused on three verses in isolation from the entire work. On the other hand, I could be mistaken. I am open to hearing your thoughts.

When God creates the new earth/Jerusalem, the former earth shall not exist.

Is 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Is 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Is 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Is 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

The scripture says that there is only one way into new Jerusalem, that is by having your name in the book of life.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

I am a bit confused on how you in vision the new earth....

    1. Do you not see that New Jerusalem is A city which does not envelope the new earth?
    2. That there are gates from this city to access this earth and vice versa?
    3. That there are some people of God (church) which live inside the city and some (Israel 144,000) which live outside?
    4. The wicked though they live outside the city are in the lake of fire.

According to the scriptures all people that belong to God will be before the throne of God.

There is only one throne of God in heaven and that is where all that believe will be.

The 144,000 will be before the same throne.

Your mixing the kingdom of Heaven with the eternal kingdom of God in which heaven will come to earth (new). The throne of God now in heaven where yes we will be before will someday come down to earth (new). When this happens there will be inhabinants resurrected some of the city and others of the earth.

There is only one throne of God that we shall stand before, this current earth will be no more.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
