I'm new here and am wondering if those who lurk/post here, would share a bit more about who the women at the well are?

Above said, my name is Anna. I am married and have two earthbound baby boys, 16 months and a newly turned 3 yr old. I am a 46 year old SAHM. I moved to SC from North Carolina 3 1/2 yrs ago. I lived in NC a year prior, and prior to that, NJ the rest of my life...LOVING the south! so happy I moved.

Okay, there is more to say about me, lol...I am tired tho and have to head to bed. My eldest son is going through night terrors...They start at 4am...so, I don't get much sleep after that. The boys keep me going all day long. Hubby works from 8am to 7pm..so, just me me me with the boys..All family lives 12 hours away. So I'm one tired mama!

The women here are filled with God's love and grace and are wonderful resources for all sorts of things female :-)

It's also a great place to come to escape the testosterone laden threads.

Oh - I'm 57 (I think) and live in Ohio. My husband and I have been married for 38 years, we have two adult children and one new-ish grandchild who makes me laugh a lot.

Thanks for sharing about yourself and your family.
If I may ask, what exactly do you mean when you use the term "earthbound" baby boys? Sorry, sometimes I'm a little slow.

Anyway, I am 50, married 30 years and we have two grown sons. One will be 29 in March and the other 24 in April.
As Vhayes said, the ladies here are wonderful , as is this forum.

It's a guess, Jeanne, but I would think Anna might mean children who have already gone home to be with Christ.

FYI - our first child, a daughter, has gone home as well Anna.

I lost 10 babies at various stages of the first trimester prior to my 2 'earth bound' baby boys....To say that I just have my 2 boys, for me, would be denying my babies that have passed on to be with the Lord...I know many don't mention - their own reasons I'm sure..I just can't do that tho!

I feel like I am right behind you! Will be 47 in October....Time ticks away so quickly..my mom..so right! ...A bit over 3 more years to go..I know the time will go by fast..

I hadn't heard it put that way before, but of course it's so nice to remember those babies who went home to be with the Lord.
I lost my second child in my 12th week of pregnancy.

Just think, we'll see them one day!

I'm 3 years behind you, but unlike yourself, am mom to 5 young adults/teenagers. Enjoy the little ones while they're little. They don't stay that way for long.

Hi Dani!! I know! That's what all my friends keep telling me (kiddos are in their early 20's) ...Every time my sons have melt downs, I remind myself that I am gonna want those younger years back!!! So fast it all goes by I keep hearing! Reminds self again, lol.

Nice to meet you. You do have your hands full. I've always wanted to visit the Carolinas but never have. Why did you move from NC to SC?

I am (just turned) 56, married (almost) 23 years, and have a (as of tomorrow) 22 yr old son that we adopted as an infant.

Hi Anna! I told you this already but I love your user name!
Both of my grandbabies have gone through night terrors. I hate it! They do outgrow it, and hopefully yours will soon.
I am 51 years old. I have been married for 27 years. I have three children, all out of the house now. My two girls are married and one of them has two children, my joys! My son is in youth ministry and is presently working for his college while he goes through seminary.
Looking forward to getting to know you better. I've been on this board going on six years and there are some amazing people here..especially the ladies!

Hi Anna...we have meant already and I told you a little about myself on that thread...but I will repeat it here for others reading. I am also 50..an older mom too...my son is 15. I am divorced from abusive marriage...many years now. I don't date...been too busy just raising my son plus I didn't want men in and out of our lives and have him get attached then things not work out. That causes too much damage I think to children. Plus I never meet any men I want to date anyway... I have just left that in God's hands.

My son's name is Nathan...I just call him Nate on here though.

Is that AV of yours you..or someone's else's picture...just wondering.

I'm here off and on, when I have time... and we all know how that goes with young ones around.

My name is Robyn and I'm married to Aaron (it'll be four years in August). I'm 25, he's 30, and I'm a stay-at-home mom to our two sons, who are 2 1/2 years and 8 months, respectively. We both grew up here in Austin, and our parents are still nearby as well. When I was working I worked in journalism/photography/graphic design/editing/advertising, and I still do minor projects here and there, mostly free for nonprofits we support. We're planning to homeschool the kids, which I'm hoping won't be too hard since both of us were homeschooled and I have both of our moms available to help me figure things out. Oh, and we have two kittens, Mooch and William.

I suppose I've been posting mostly on 'Introductions' and 'Families in Christ' ..a little elsewhere

We lived in South Charlotte (rented) while looking for a home to buy...location mostly...work. Anyway, we then found a really nice developement just over the border only 25 minutes from downtown....cheaper homes and tax's.

So nice to meet you
