Ill be back if or when the Lord be willing.
Have a good day if you can.
Actually, yes.
I'll be here all week.
Try the veal.
And try not to condescend to share your gnostic wisdom with we poor plebians.
"MISSION: To rescue Christians enslaved by manmade religion and to bring them to the freedom of Jesus."
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord of Lords.
Before the Beginning was God. Agreed. What else? Izzat it? John 1:1 says that.
"In (en G1722) the beginning...". En is the imperfect of eimi (G1510), "to be" (the Greek verb for existence), which in this context should have been translated "had been". The best paraphrase of John 1:1 would be: "Before there was any beginning, the Word had been, and the Word has been toward (the) God, and God had been the Word."
So... agreed. Before the Beginning was God. Now what?! That's not really profound.

Before the beginning(The beginning of what?) was God.
In the beginning(The beginning to what?) was the Word.(Was the Word IN the beginning or the beginning or could have been before the beginning?)
I am ensnared within the mysteries of God.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Here is another beginning or is it the same beginning that is in the book of John?
Where do you get "before the beginning was God."
Eternity past is a concept that man uses to try to place himself in some time/space continuum.
God is eternal. God is. Time has no relationship to God, that we know of, outside of his relationship with creation that we see in Genesis 1.
I think you are reading way too much into Greek and Hebrew idioms and their translations, looking for the man in the corner that isn't there.
