Prayers needed

Not trying to cry wolf or anything, but I really could use some prayers this evening for the physical pain I am in to go away. It's related to my disablity. I've been thinking about having surgery in the hopes of it helping with these pain episodes, but I want to make sure I research and seek the Lord before making that decision. So please be in prayer with me on that decision as well.

Father I come to you tonight asking that you take this pain away from Living by Faith and give her the wisdom to know how to deal with this situtation on wheather to get surgery or not. Show her Dear Lord, what to do....Thank You for all that you do for us.

I really could use some more prayers for this coming week. For starters, I have once again been dealing with this health issue. The pain kept me up half of the night last night. I also just realized that I have A LOT of things due in my college classes this week. I have a 5 page paper due on the 21st, an exam that has to be taken by the 18th and another essay type exam that has to be turned in by the 20th. I already knew about the paper and one exam, but was surprised about the essay exam. I'm not complaining about having this much work, because I am loving my college classes right now and doing very well in them. But I was just surprised and overwhelmed that it all came in like this at once.

I plan on taking one exam tomorrow to be finished with it. I also hope to complete all of my weekly assignments tomorrow so that I can focus on the paper and the essay exam the rest of the week. Pray that this works out for me. I still really struggle with getting side-tracked with other things instead of focusing on my studying. I must improve on that or I will become stressed like I did last semester.


On a different note, I have a doctor's appointment in the morning in a town over from where I live. I will be driving myself to this appointment, so I would like to as for prayer for safe travels there and back.

Prayers this evening for safe travel and for a successful week. Asking that your health issues, especially pain, will be alleviated and thus not able to interfere with your studies.

Praying against persistent side-items which have a tendency to distract or cause undo stress.

Thanks for the prayers so far. I made the trip and back without any problems. It was actually a nice trip except for driving through an unfamiliar town. I got a good report today as well. Now time for lunch, then completing all of my homework assignments! Probably study and take the test tomorrow if I can't get to it today. I'll be working on my 5 page paper, essay exam and getting my Sunday School lesson together from Wednesday through Saturday. I can't waste any time this week! I hope nothing comes up this week so I can work on these assignments.

I will be taking my first exam in Intro to Theology when I get up in the morning. I have studied for this exam about 90% of the day and was going to take it this evening, but my eyes are starting to hurt from having to read so much. Please pray that I do well on this test and keep my focus on it.

The 3 exams in this class count 60% of my grade. I have three hours to complete this exam. That could seem like a good thing, unless that means that there are essay questions that I'll have to answer. Then as soon as I complete exam, I will need to get started on my five page reflection paper for this same class. Thankfully, I don't believe that will be as hard as I thought. But I don't know when I'll get around to working on my 4 (400 word each) essay answers for my Western Literature class. It is unreal at the amount of work I have to complete in the next few days.

I'm posting this here because I want to ask for prayer only and don't see that anything needs to be discussed further. I want to ask that you all pray that God helps me to share the gospel with my family. I had that opportunity today and I completely missed it. It was all my fault. I am beyond mad at myself and feel like such a failure. I just keep thinking of the scripture that says if you deny Me before others, I will deny You before My Father. I feel that is somewhat what I did today by not fully answering a question that a family member asked. Why did I do that?!!!! God knew I was going to be faced with that question today and even prepared me to answer it by having me read something on this site earlier.

I pray daily for God to let others see Jesus through me. I pray that God will reveal Himself to my family and draw them close to Him. I pray for God to use me in whatever He wants to draw others to Him. Then I go and do something stupid like today and don't take that opportunity. I'm so angry at myself for that. On top of all of that, I have my college assignments that I need to work on, but I haven't been able to focus on any of that today. And to think I thought today had gotten off to a good start and was going to be productive.

Needing some prayers today. I have two essay due by midnight, but I'm sitting here with a headache and dealing with pain from a health issue. I'm thinking about just dropping this semester. The stress really isn't worth it.

I don't even know why I'm going to college to begin with. I thought it was going to be an essay semester but writing four essays in one week is unreal!!! Especially on topics that are of no interest to me. I might as well quit teaching as well since I'm lousy at it. I guess I could just quit teaching and college and have all the time in the world in my hands to do nothing. But if I did that, then I'd get bored out of my mind like when I first moved into my own apartment.
