Thank you all for your continued prayers. God never ceases to amaze me with His mercy and love toward us. Last night, my husband and I were working with Abby on her walking. Up until last night, she was taking a few steps back and forth between me and my husband. But, she would not walk if we were not near her. She didn't feel secure and it was like she was afraid she would fall. I spent much of my day yesterday praying to God to help Abby walk better. Last night, for the first time, Abby walked alone with no help! She took about 15 steps and walked to the couch (and no one was sitting on it to catch her if she fell). THEN, she turned herself around and faced me and walked all the way back to me with no help!! Thank you God for helping Abby to walk! I will update you all when Abby gets her 3rd cast on March 15th. God Bless you all.
Praise be to God!!!
I am so excited and grateful to hear this joyous news.

Abby is walking everywhere and there is no stopping her!She gets her 3rd cast tomorrow. Please continue to pray that the doctors will see a big improvement in her spine tomorrow when they change her cast. Thanks for all of your prayers and support!
Thanks is great news! I will pray about her spine.
God bless
"People do not drift toward holiness. Apart from grace-driven effort, people do not gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord. We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; We drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; We drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated?" - D A Carson
Again, I am so pleased about Abby walking everywhere!!
Am wondering how her spine is after the cast was removed?
Her spine is staying at 20 degrees. Her daddy and I are a little disapointed. But, we are also thrilled to know that she used be 48 degrees. So, she has come a long way. We are believing in God for more correction. She will wear this 3rd cast for 6 weeks. Then, they will take the cast off and put her in a brace for the summer. She will return to casting in the Fall. We know that the doctors say things like "We might not see much more correction", and "One day, she may need surgery". But we also know what the Great Physician says to us daily - "By my Son's stripes, Abby is healed." We are believing in God for complete correction and know that through his Love and Grace, that it will happen in His own time. I wrote a little something for my sweet Abby. .I am going to post it below for you all to enjoy. God Bless...
How My Daughter is Like a Flower..
A flower starts with just a small seed planted under the ground by
God.
My daughter started with a small seed planted within me by God.
A flower pushes its way out of the ground to meet the world for the
first time.
My daughter pushed her way out of my womb to meet the world for the
first time.
A flower starts out with no bud on it. There is no bloom to see.
But it is still a beautiful thing for the world to see and is
precious in God’s eyes.
My daughter started out with little hair and lots of red wrinkly
skin. But she was still beautiful for us to see and was
precious in God’s eyes.
A flower begins to grow a small bud on its stem. Even though you
can not yet see the flower, you know it is there and that you
will be able to one day enjoy its beauty.
My daughter began to grow hair. It was very hard to see at first.
But, we knew it was there and we knew that over time, we would
be able to enjoy brushing it and putting pretty bows in her
beautiful hair.
A flower finally blooms and spreads open its petals to embrace the
world. It is a beautiful thing. It is almost like the flower
is smiling at God from below.
My daughter finally spreads open her arms to hug her Mommy and Daddy
and her smile is a gift from God.
A flower grows taller. Sometimes its stem grows crooked and needs to
be staked up in order to learn how to grow straight. But, the
stake doesn't take away from the beauty of the flower.
My daughter grew taller and her spine grew crooked. She needed a
cast to teach her spine how to grow straight. But the cast
doesn't take away from the beauty of my daughter.
When staked up, a flower grows taller and straighter with the help of
a gardener, the rain, the sun, and God.
When casted, my daughter grows taller and straighter with the help of
a doctor, a loving family, the Son, and God.
Even though it is staked, a flower sways in the wind and spreads its
petals open wide for the world to see.
Even though she is casted, my daughter dances to music, laughs out
loud, and smiles for the world to see.
A flower will bloom only for a short time. Then, its fragrance will
fade and its petals will fall to the ground. But, the gardener
will enjoy it while it lasts.
My daughter will only be little for a short time. Her “baby smell”
will end and she will grow and mature. But, her Mommy and Daddy
will enjoy these days while we can.
A flower’s petals are blown off by the wind and carried away by the
wind to another place. The petals will return in Spring with
the help of the sun and rain and special attention from the
Gardener.
My daughter will grow up, fall in love, and be taken out of our home
by her new husband to another place. But, she will return to
visit whenever she can by the grace of God and through a special
relationship with her parents.
I'm with you, our Lord is indeed the Great Physician. And I fully believe He will completely heal Abby.
What you wrote for Abby is so beautiful.
Lord bless you, and your family.

Redneck Charger..
I am so glad that you scheduled an appointment with a speecn pathologist. I assume he or she would recommend a complete audiological evaluation, if one had not been done already. That is wonderful that she is walking! I will be praying for you and your husband to know just which paths to take, and which paths to skirt, in getting all the help you need for her and that she develops into a very healthy and very capable young lady who fervently serves Yeshua.
Please pray for "the least of these" in the Persecuted Church Prayer Forum at top.
Acts 21 Now they have been informed about you that you continually teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn back from and forsake Moses...Therefore do just what we tell you. With us are 4 men who have taken a vow upon themselves. Take these men and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses [for a temple offering],...Thus everybody will know that there is no truth in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself walk in observance of the Law of Moses.
Took Abby to an allergy specialist today to find out why she had the allergic reaction a few weeks ago. Turns out, she is allergic to Penicillin and anything in the Penicillin family. That is why she reacted to the Amoxicillin. Anyway, the allergy specialist also checked her ears and found LOTS of fluid in her ears. He said that he thinks that is why she hasn't been talking. He gave us a liquid medicine for Abby to take by mouth. He thinks that when the fluid is gone that she will start talking. I pray that happens.
Abby is a very beautiful girl. I will pray for her spine to heal an for her ears too that the fluid will go away.

Question - I want to paste an updated picture of Abby and her sister here so that you all can see it. I had their pictures taken at Olan Mills yesterday. My question is that I have the picture on a picture CD. The only way that I can see of putting a picture here is by typing in the URL? There is no URL??? It is on a disc. I used to be able to copy and paste pics in here. It will no longer let me. How do I do this?
You should be able to download (rip) your pics from the CD to your pc. Then -
If you sign up to photobucket at:
http://photobucket.com/ (it's a free photo-hosting site),
you can upload photos from your pc. . You just click upload photos, and then click from you computer. You then go to your pictures page on your pc and select . Photobucket will allow you to build an album if you wish. Once you've done that you click on each image you want to put here and you will get an IMG code under the image.
You simply click on the IMG code and that will automatically give you the URL to paste here.
You already know how to do that.
She's a little cutie.
