    Message tomorrow

    Please pray for my preparation for the message tomorrow.

    For the Last 4 weeks, I have brought the message, and have now
    been 'promoted' to Senior Pastor (I serve as a Pastoral counselor in my church) and while I Love
    to teach, and the Lord has been so wonderfully faithful in speaking
    to me... this evening I am having difficulty in getting the notes to make sense....

    ... He is so faithful to speak to me about so much as I prepare... i do not want
    to miss any of it for my lack of clear notes.

    Tomorrow is also the day we are 'going public' with the fact that I am serving as
    the interim senior Pastor, not just filling in to teach bring the message each Sunday.

    I just now prayed for you too, friend, and I will pray again tomorrow morning. I promise. Yes, its wonderful, but its also a huge responsibility.

    I do know though, that the teacher ALWAYS gets more out of the message than the students! The teacher must be certain of the message, so I will be praying earnestly for you.
    My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16

    "Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)

    Thank you all for the prayers.

    I Love the Word, and love to teach... the preparation can be a struggle at times. This evening was just putting the collection onto paper to be repaired... I know full well that the Holy Spirit has little use for my notes.

    I am always blessed after the message, when to go back and listen to all that He has shared... constantly surprised at what He has said through me..

    Update: NEWS FLASH... the Lord is faithful.



    I appreciate the prayers, as I am sure you all knew when you read the request He is faithful.

    This was not my first rodeo, I love to teach... it is amazing how things change when you are not just filling in. Please do continue to pray as the Spirit would lead.
