Interesting to see what people believe. I agree with Charles Finney who also did not believe in the sinners prayer or quick fix. He wrote the following a long time ago in his book Revival Fire: "I have already intimated that pains enough had not been taken to search the heart and thoroughly detect and expose the sinner’s depravity, so as to make him see the need of the gospel remedy. If I am not mistaken, there has been, in many cases, an error committed in urging sinners to submission before they are prepared to understand what true submission is. I’m sure everyone agrees and supports the notion that it’s possible, for a person to be born again, after repeating a salvation prayer, however we also recognize that sometimes, not every person has this born again experience immediately, after hearing the word, and repeating a salvation prayer.

It’s not because we don’t believe or agree, with what is written in our fathers word, it’s because this is the reality we witness in some situations, when there is little or no change, in that person or there life.

Jesus gives 4 accounts of what happens when people hear the good news.

1. Seed by the way side - receives the word, understands it not and the enemy steals it away.
2. Seed on stony ground - receives the word, but has no root & only endures for a while because of tribulation and persecution.
3. Seed in thorns - receives the word, but the cares and deceitful riches of the world, choke the word & they are unfruitful.
4. Seed in good ground - receives the word, understands it and bears fruit some 30 60 100.

We can never see into a person heart, or determine if just repeating a prayer will be sufficient in their situation, some people experience a rebirth, and some people don’t experience any change at all, this is a mystery only God can answer.

But whatever the result, decisions and discipleship go hand in hand, as we need to maintain our salvation, because we can always back slide and return to our old life style and lose it.

Jesus Christ IS God

There are some religions out there that believe and teach that Jesus Christ is not God. Some teach that He is a god, but not thee God. I am going to demonstrate through the word of God that He is God and created all things.

Jesus’s name “Immanuel” LITERALLY means “God with us”

Mt 1:23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

Isa 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

He always existed (from everlasting):

Mic 5:2 (NKJV) "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, [Though] you are little among the thousands of Judah, [Yet] out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth [are] from of old, From everlasting."

This prophecy is of Christ's first comming. His Goings forth have been from everlasting because Christ Jesus is God.

Jesus Christ is one with the Father. He is God.

Joh 14:8 Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one God:

1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Jesus declares Himself to be the great I AM of the Old Testiment. I AM is God's Name

Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."

I am IS God. There is only one God. That God has three parts.

Ex 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

All of the Fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ’s Body.

Col 2:8 Beware lest anyone rob you through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in Him, who is the Head of all principality and power,

All Things Were Created By Jesus Christ and are Held Together by Him.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And He is before all things, and by him all things consist.

His Disciple/Apostle Peter Admits that Jesus knows “All things” (Only God knows all things)

God's plurality is found in Genesis

Ge 1:26 ¶ Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

His Disciple/Apostle Thomas Confessed Him to be God and Jesus did NOT rebuke Him for it:

Joh 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing."And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

This verse demonstrates how God has multiple aspects. He said Let “US” make man in “OUR” image. He didn’t say, let me make man in My image, He said let US make man is OUR image.

His Apostle/Disciple John declares Christ Jesus to be God:

Joh 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

His Apostle/Disciple John declares that the world was made by Him (Jesus Christ)

Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

All things were made by Him and He was in the beginning with God (Father)

Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

There are MANY places where He is worshipped and Jesus NEVER tells them not to worship Him, NOT once. Only God is to be worshipped, because Jesus IS God, Jesus IS worshipped:

Mt 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. {presented: or, offered}

Scripture refers to Him as the Lord, Jesus Christ. The phrase "The Lord" is unique only to God:

Conclusion: Jesus Christ is God. Not a God but the God of the bible. God has three parts. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All are equal, yet the Son is submissive to the Father and the Holy Spirit is submissive to the Son.

With me it was a different more like a process that I got saved, I had some weird dreams and weird things happening. I had a long time thinking to myself thinking about my life. Then I went to the church I was supposed to go to and sitting listening to the first words something inside of me was yelling YES YES YES and I started crying cause I was where I was supposed to be I guess I got convicted. The next time I went to church I asked my pastor to baptise me and all the way Satan was right there trying to keep me from doing it and he tried to make me unsure of my salvation. Satan really didnt want to let me go I really didn't chose God it is truly through Grace for me that He led me that way to get saved. I think that's a very precious intimate event and however it happens for people through a prayer or dreams or weird events God has His ways and they are awesome! After the weird dreams I started reading the Bible and then I went to church so I left out a step so that all kinda followed up that way for me and it was about 2 years ago I felt "disturbed" and last year was my outward profession of faith where along that I was reborn I can't tell, I died in a dream....so maybe then? When I got dunked in the water? When I recieved the Holy Spirit? I suppose when you know you know and all of a sudden I see people in a different light and they see me differently lol there's a light turned on and someone's home People come and share their testimony which is awesome I looooove craazy stories! God's wisdom is foolishness to the world and I AM PRETTY FOOLISH! He is so much fun, but it's not easy either some times because you recognize the spiritual warfare and what spirits do to people that are not saved and it hurts me watching them go around and around in circles and you think they will come to Christ and be saved and they choose to roam around in the dark a little while or someone accepts Christ and believes for a little while and then falls back asleep again like the seeds parable. Just gotta stay in the Word and stay with Him and love love love! Satan is alive and well in this world, he likes to come out and talk too no doubt! But I like to remind him it's only for a little while longer he better enjoy it while he can! The Book is already written and we know how the story ends WE HAVE VICTORY IN JESUS CHRIST! AMEN!

I watched a video of a muslim asking a christian a question partaining to Jesus. He asked whether God was all knowing. Also asked if Jesus is God which the Christian answered yes. Then he said well if Jesus is God but says that no man nor angel knows the time of when everything is going to happen is Jesus not God and not allknowing or is God a liar for knowing and giving an answer like that.
The Christian couldn't answer and I have to say WOW I had to ask myself the same thing it would have been complicated for me to answer....Sad how sly and tricky and cunning Satan is with his words...but Jesus is the Son and God in the flesh that He sent for us to die (not quoting bible just my own belief) and he said I don't do anything apart from what I see the father do so He is God but does not go beyond what God tells Him to say because He is the example of perfect obedience and the spotless lamb. It all makes sense to me but I really don't have the knowledge of scripture to back that up if I was confronted with the question...I would really have to rely on when God says worry not about what you will say cause I will give you what you are to say...I sure would hope if I was asked and put on the spot like that the Holy Spirit would overcome me and I would give a good answer.
Maybe this is a way to find out a better way to answer that trick question, but then again do I need to argue with Satan about God?
If anyone has some good suggestions I would really appreciate it cause it's all about the armour and knowledge with understanding is a great tool so the more we get tested the better we find the enemies strategies and strongholds and can break them down...but then again would I rely on my own wisdom then? So maybe I should pray for an awesome answer with which I could give God the Glory in this matter! Amen! I like to be as specific as possible but I hope someone can understand my utterances and help with what I am asking thanks a bunch!

The bible was written by God through 40 men in 3 languages over a 1,500 year period. These men lived in different parts of the world, some were rich, some were poor, some were educated, some were not, most didn't know each other, nor did they necessarily have access to the other's writings and yet it fits together as if it were written by one person, because it was written by God. It has no true errors or contradictions. There are countless prophecies which have been predicted and fulfilled perfectly in scripture. All of these prophecies were written hundreds of years before they were fulfilled. That’s how the wise men knew about Jesus’s birth in the first place, from the prophecies in the Old Testament.
