You know, it's rather ironic that you quote me in your sig.

Stop painting bulls-eyes where your arrows land.

Here is an interesting website on word-pictures is saysWhat is a word picture?
*
In ancient Hebrew, like in Chinese and ancient Egyptian, every word is formed by adding pictures together to "paint" or illustrate the meaning of the word. A word picture is a word that is described by pictures.
*
You don't have to be able to read Hebrew in order to understand and to use this book effectively when you read the Bible.
*
When Hebrew was first written, each letter represented both a sound and a picture. Even if you or the people you teach are not familiar with the Hebrew sounds and have no experience with this language, the pictures you see inside the words will speak for themselves.
Why Hebrew Word Pictures are important to believers?
"Every so often, something comes along that can help move your spiritual life into high gear. I'm convinced that Frank Seekins' concept of "Hebrew Word Pictures" is such a concept. With so many books and conference about biblical principles, this one can help you better understand and love God's Word itself.
As someone who's studied "word pictures" for years, seeing them come alive in the very letters of Scripture is like adding color to a classic movie. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in gaining a deeper love and understanding of the Scriptures.

More on the letter tav.... just read it slowly Fenris
![]()
The twenty-second and last letter of the Hebrew alphabet is the Tav. It's literal meaning is "ownership" "covenant" "sign" "a mark" and "to join two things together".
![]()
In the ancient Hebrew picture letters the Tav was written as a cross, and later as an X. In the ancient Hebrew word for "sign"we see that the SIGN is "the strong leader nailed to the cross". It is this same word that is translated
in the Greek text of Luke 2:12 which reads: And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
The Hebrew word for religion is "DaT"the ancient word picture tell us that religion is the "door of the sign" or the "door of the cross".
Truly the Hebrew language is amazing in what it has to teach us today. As we proceed farther in the coming months, we will see more amazing things from God's eternal word. We will delve deeper into the meaning of each letter, and see anagrams, acrostics and on the Jacob's ladder page, the equa-distant letter sequences known as the "Bible codes".
One last thing before we stop here. We are told in John's gospel that "the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" (John 1:14). Let's connect the dots here to get a good picture. The letters literally came off the scroll and came to life, flesh,in the person of Jesus/Yeshua. Yeshua went on to complete the plan of salvation by dying on a Roman cross. On the third day, He was resurrected, brought back to life by the power of the Holy Spirit. In a parallel, the Hebrew language died out almost 1900 years ago. It was "resurrected", brought back from the dead by the efforts of ONE man. Eliezer Ben Yehuda began this monumental task in 1881 at the age of 23 years old, he work diligently to form new words for modern things that had no word equivalent in the Hebrew language. His strongest opponents were the Orthodox Jews who felt that he was making the Holy language a "common" language of the street. However, in 1921 Hebrew was declared as an "official language" in "Palestine" and in 1967 Hebrew was restored to the common people as a "pure language".

Sign is "Ot", not "Tav".
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."
Jeremiah 31:9
And when you start referencing "equidistant letter sequences known as 'Bible codes'", the source loses what little (if any) credibility it had.
"MISSION: To rescue Christians enslaved by manmade religion and to bring them to the freedom of Jesus."
What he said.
This stuff is no different from the bible codes. Hunt around, find something pleasing, present it as a proof.
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."
