Here in this thread I think it would be a good idea if people would post some of their favorite or well liked verse, it can be any verse, just post it if you tjink other people should know about it and then maybe describe it, I'll start off

Rev 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

I like this verse because it reminds me who's in charge, and that without the lord we are nothing, because everything we have and are is because of our god.

My initial reaction would have been to say negative, but sometimes the situation can just involve choices and you maybe get the one that you might not have preferred, but it isn't necessarily bad. I hope that makes sense.

Precisely. Which was the point I was trying to make. Ever since I noticed that pattern Rom 8:28 dropped from the first place out of my top-10 favorite Scripture list. However Rom 8:28 is making a comeback because as you rightly more or less say it yourself I have come to realize that what I want often not is what I need.

Agreed, the verse reminds me to trust in God's providence, when I think something hasn't worked out quite the way I wanted it to it always comes good, or a lot of the times better than I expected it to.
