    1 - Finish the verse: "for you are a holy people belonging to the LORD your God......" The LORD has chosen you to be His special people out of all the peoples on the face of the earth.

    2 - Name some of the animals the people were allowed to eat. the ox, the sheep, the goat, the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer,the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope,
    and the mountain sheep.


    3 - Name some of the animals the people were NOT allowed to eat. the camel, the hare, and the hyrax, and the pig.


    4 - Which kind of birds were the people NOT allowed to eat? the eagle, the bearded vulture,the black vulture, the kite, the various kinds of falcon, every kind of raven, the ostrich,the short-eared owl, the gull, the various kinds of hawk. the little owl, the long-eared owl,the white owl, the desert owl,the osprey, the cormorant, the stork,
    the various kinds of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat.


    5 - What were the people supposed to set aside each year? a tenth of all the produce grown in the fields, ten percent of the wine and olive oil, and the first-born of every cow, sheep, and goat.

    6 - Why at the end of every three years did the people bring a tenth of all the produce for that year and store [it] within their gates? For the Levite, the foreign resident, fatherless, and widow within the gates may come, eat, and be satisfied.

    Deuteronomy 15 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

    1 - Describe how the debts are cancelled every 7 years. Every creditor is to cancel what he has lent his neighbor. He is not to collect [anything] from his neighbor or brother, because the LORD's release of debts has been proclaimed. 3 You may collect [something] from a foreigner, but you must forgive whatever your brother owes you.

    2 - Why did the Lord say there would be no poor among His people? because the LORD is certain to bless you in the land the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance

    3 - What was to be done if there was a poor brother among God's people? God's people were told to open there hand and lend to him.

    4 - "Give to him, and don't have a stingy heart when you give, and because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you do."

    5 - Finish the verse: "If your fellow Hebrew, a man or woman,......" is sold to you and serves you six years, you must set him free in the seventh year.

    6 - What is to be done with the slave that loves his master and does not want to leave? They were told to "take an awl and pierce through his ear into the door, and he will become your slave for life. "

    5 - For how many days are the people told to celebrate the Festival of Booths? seven days.

    6 - Name the festivals where the males are to appear before the Lord. Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Booths.

    1 - "You must not sacrifice to the LORD your God an ox or sheep with a defect or any serious flaw, for that is detestable to the LORD your God."

    2 - What should be done to the man or woman who has done an evil thing? They were told to stone them to death.

    3 - The one condemned to die is to be executed on the testimony of two or three witnesses. No one is to be executed on the testimony of a single witness.

    4 - What should be done when a case becomes too difficult? They were told to go up to the place the LORD your God chooses and go to the Levitical priests and to the judge who presides at that time. Ask, and they will give you a verdict in the case.

    5 - What happens to the person who acts arrogantly, refusing to listen either to the priest who stands there serving the LORD your God or to the judge? They must die.

    6 - What is to remain with the king, that he is to read from it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the LORD his God? a copy of this instruction for himself on a scroll.

    1 - Who will have no portion or inheritance with Israel? The Levitical priests, the whole tribe of Levi.

    2 - "Although Levi has no inheritance among his brothers, the LORD is his inheritance, as He promised him."

    3 - Who was chosen from all the tribes to stand and minister in the LORD's name from now on? The Levitical priests

    4 - Everyone who does WHAT things is detestable to the LORD? to make his son or daughter pass through the fire, practice divination, tell fortunes, interpret omens, practice sorcery, cast spells, consult a medium or a familiar spirit, or inquire of the dead.

    5 - "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him."

    6 - What happens to the prophet who dares to speak in God's name a message that He has not commanded him to speak? that prophet must die.
