President Obama misses being a private citizen

"I just miss - I miss being anonymous," he said at the meeting in the White House. "I miss Saturday morning, rolling out of bed, not shaving, getting into my car with my girls, driving to the supermarket, squeezing the fruit, getting my car washed, taking walks. I can't take a walk."

He says he enjoys golf but is not the fanatic that some have portrayed. "It's the only excuse I have to get outside for four hours at a stretch," he said.

His impossible dream: "I just want to go through Central Park (in New York) and watch folks passing by ... spend the day watching people. I miss that."
So don't run for a second term, dude. I mean, really. You weren't drafted. You wanted this job.
Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it on the islands from afar, and say, "He Who scattered Israel will gather them together and watch them as a shepherd his flock."

    Jeremiah 31:9

I agree with what you said.
Perhaps he shouldnt indeed run for a second term, he doesnt seem to be in it to the full, and he is still yet a man with a family..... however i do not think he can ever again do that in which he misses, even if he doesnt run again.

He could move to Alaska and be anonymous.

And I agree. I think we should allow him the luxury of returning to "private citizen" status and also move out of taxpayer supported public housing. Michelle and the kids deserve better.

And why wait for 2012. I'll accept his resignation now.

Lets say he did resign, Biden takes over right?
Who then moves to Bidens position?

I'm canadian, im familiar with your politics but not well fed about it.
So, if i am correct and thats how it goes, what is your opinions on him possibly being the president?

Biden would have to appoint a Vice President, who would have to be confirmed by the Senate, which would pretty much be a rubber stamp.

At least with Biden, you have a continuous ongoing laugh track.

IIRC, when Pelosi was SoH, she was #3 in line after Biden........a thought which still sends shivers down my spine. Now that Boenner (however it's spelled) is SoH, I believe he's third now. IMO, an improvement.............which albeit is not saying much.

He seems like a nice person, and in the words of Forrest Gump "that's all I have to say about that"

Well you do not always need to go to Disneyland to make your wishes come true.

He can be one of the boys back in Kenya or Indonesia.

    Nice.

He said he missed being an unrecognizable Joe. Since the man is fairly bright, my guess is he knew the trade off before he ever ran for office.
