Any reason why O.P. is in the Areopagus forum?

Any posts about Oneness Pentecostalism is put in the Areopagus forum. I find this very offensive. We preach the Jesus of the Bible. To say we don't is a very miskewed concept out there. We don't believe that you are wrong b/c you are trinitarian, most of us don't, we just don't agree that trinitarian view of God as far as saying He's 3 persons is not a scripturally sound way of putting the Godhead. All of a sudden we are called a "cult" and placed in the same forum as islam and LDS and SDA and JW??!! This is really a wrong belief, we are a branch off of the Assemblies of God, so put them in there too. And anybody from the COGIC, TD Jakes' church, or COG, you can put them in there too.

SaveMeDaily - this is a Trinitarian based board. That's the way of it. Now, either you can get your knickers in a wad about which forum your posts are in or you can discuss your beliefs and ours. The choice is totally yours - but the knickers being wadded up won't get you much but uncomfortable.

I would have to agree somewhat. I am a trinitarian, but I do not think the yay you see the Godhead neccessarily makes you a cult.

SaveMeDaily, have they not told you at the church where you attend that oneness doctrine does put you outside mainstream Christianity, like with SDA, Mormons and the like? The trinity is and always has been the accepted norm or orthodox Christinity.

You CAN discuss it, but only in certain forums.

Well as an AoG minister and district overseer I can assure you that COGIC, the Potters House, TD Jakes and CoG are not part of the AoG

Think of the board as a village. There are public places here as in all communities that would be considered common areas where all are welcome. In most all communities, there are several churches. There is not a common worship.
Although the majority of the population are trinitarian, we welcome all people to learn and share Scipture.

It just happens that our charter was written with the trinitarian faith as our base.

Everyone has the freedom of expression. We have simply designated areas that certain pulpits are allowed since they are outside of the community charter.

Each forum has it's own unique set of rules. You can consider these a map with all the street names, so while you navigate, you'll know exactly where you are, and will always be able to find your way home again.

We even have an information forum, for those looking for direction, and a lost and found!

SaveMeDaily...I'm thrilled that you are here and discussing the things that you are. I have friends that are members of an Apostilic (Oneness) church and I love them to death despite our disagreements. They are some of the most spiritual and uplifting people I know. If I knew you on a personal basis, I'm sure I would feel the same way about you.

Please stick around. By no means are Oneness folks a cult.

SaveMeDaily, if it's of any consequence to you, Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox posts are placed here as well. It's teachings that are widely divergent from mainline Prostestantism.
