Jesus said he that does the will of the father, the will of our father as we progress in our personal relationships is to renew our mind, grow, transform, and bear fruit and as we follow this process there is a lot of trial and error but this helps us over come our flaws and weaknesses.

Then Jesus said depart from me you who work inquiry for I say unto you I know you not, Jesus is talking about Luke warm and hypocritical Christians and non Christians who walk in the flesh, but claim or pretend to be Christians because they have experienced the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit, so they think because God answered there prayer this justifies there conduct and behavior, but they are sinning and walking in the flesh and not repenting, that’s why Jesus denies them because they don’t walk in the Spirit and bear fruit.

So I wouldn’t say it’s our denominations God holds responsible, its us.

    Peace

the choice is ours yet we get our teaching from the denominations, there doctrine is embedded in our minds at birth through our parents
    from XMAS to Easter.

yet the 3 big houses have issues with each other nor is there doctrine and name found in the Lord's word.

the Lord had Jeremiah write about XMAS before he came in the flesh
    Jeremiah 10

1Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
5They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. 6Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might

yet all 3 houses teach that Jesus was born on Dec 25 and this custom is correct.

The Lord said he would be in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights

    Matthew 12

38Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

39But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

    Is all 3 wrong?
will they come back to Mom as she is trying to do today?

Fill us in ozell. Who is Jesus Christ in ozellism? Did He accomplish anything for you or me besides doing away with the Levitical priesthood?

I Samuel 3:10 And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

I answered the question in post 117. Perhaps you don't like my answer. If that's the case don't say I didn't answer the question. Just say you disagree with my answer. Now it's your turn. I asked before and now I'll ask again.

Whose doctrine is correct, Ozell, so I can go to that church this Sunday?

I don't know any Protestant personally who believes and teaches Jesus was born on December 25. You would be better off saying "some" teach it's December 25th.

Jeremiah 10 is not about Christmas trees? Really? Are you sure you read that whole context? Just because people have trees and that passage mentions trees doesn't mean Jeremiah's talking about the same thing.
