A Few Simple Questions....... No scriptures required! Whew......

Let me ask a few simple questions. You do not have to provide scriptures. These are just simple common sense questions, that I'm sure Paul used when writing and advising these new chuches.

    1. Do you teach children algebra before teaching them math basics?

    2. Do you teach everything to new christains all at once, or do you ease them into this new word of God?

    3. Do you think Paul taught the milk of the word BEFORE the meat of the word?

    4. Do you think we have ALL of the letters of Paul that he sent to these new churches?

Simple questions. Like I said......no scriptures required!

    So...what say ye?

These are questions some may have never considered. Now that they have, they may search deeper into God's word. Maybe even look deeper at the writings of Paul.

Scriptures tells us that Paul did in fact teach the milk of the word before he gave them the meat of the word...

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 1 Cor.3:2

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Heb.5:12-13

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:1-2

So the answer to #3 would be Yes!.

    Thanks for replying.

His reasoning is, he is a law pusher. Keep the law or you are not saved.

Have you laid your burdens down?

I must ask....at what point did I mention God's laws in the following?

I am not denying that I believe in keeping God's laws. Can you imagine if everyone did? Trust me. I have a lesson or two about the laws of God.....

But above......at what point in the ABOVE questions did I say ANYTHING about God's laws?

    Speak the truth now....

You didn't in this thread, but you used the same questions and reasoning in one of your other posts tonight. And yes you are advocating law keeping in that thread and will soon enough in this one too, if left to go as you see fit.

And you are correct. If you love your neighbor as youself you will keep God's commandments; you will not lie, steal, murder bear false witness, and the rest.

Sorry, I don't seem to recall where TF said he was a fan of your "lessons". Could you point that out please??

I was basing it on that fact that he has read a lesson or a post, or at least one of them. Mainly I was just kidding.
