Because of this argument, I am now confused as to the timing of the fall of Babylon.

The best guess I have as to the timing of Babylon's fall comes from the messages of the angels of Revelation 14. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on this matter? Or any scripture that they know of that could help me to understand Revelation 14 and the timing of the fall of Babylon?

P.S. I also wonder if the second trumpet in Revelation 8:8 describes the fall of Babylon because its imagery is similar to Jeremiah 51:25.

Thank you for your help and your time.
Revelation 14 describes the consummation of the ages.

In 14.1-5 we have a description of the rapture of God's people.

In 14.6-7 we have the declaration that the hour of His judgment has come.

In 14.8 we have the announcement of the fall of Babylon.

In 4.9-12 we have a description of the judgment of those who had taken the mark of the Beast.

In 14.13 the blessedness of those who had died in the Lord is announced.

In 14.14-21 we have a description of the jast judgment.
