This makes me kinda upset.
Every temptation is of the devil, and every sin leads to death.
The only thing that i question out of that entire article is this:
“When you think you’ve heard it all, you haven’t,” Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz told Fox News Radio. “These seven brave souls who put their lives on the line and ultimately gave up the most precious gift that could be given, believe me are in heaven for serving us so admirably,” he said.
This is false, its not truth and yes it will offend some that see what im saying, they do not recieve entry into heaven because they gave thier lives. "Noone goes to the Father except through Me"
It's just a sign after all, and IF God doesn't exist and the whole heaven thing is a fairy tale (according to atheists) then why are they so threatened by stuff like this???

God answers knee mail.
They aren't. They had no problem and didn't say nary a word against it before hand. It's only later when they can get some publicity and a news story over it that the "Problem" developed and it became a threat.
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
You are technically right, but telling someone that these brave souls did not go to Heaven unless they were saved will lead no one to Christ just as fast as the comment with which you disagree. Sometimes letting such things be is the right way to go. There is a time and a place for everything under the sun. Knowing which is which is great wisdom. I hope to have it someday.
As for the atheists, well, how sad to be so predictable.
Good point its important to be wise about what to say. I would also however offer that making it clear they are not necessarily in heaven may actually be instrumental in explaining to someone that they don't need to do heroic worldly acts to have eternal life, they only need Christ. The 'good works won't do it' it critical to explain to people who would otherwise believe God cannot love them because of the kind of people they are/life they lived.

In other news The California Atheists are angry over the name of the city "Los Angeles" which in spanish means city of angels. Stating that they don't believe in angels so they are demanding the city to change the name to something else.
I didnt know the link didnt work

Oh good point and I agree. I'm glad you added to what I said because it's important. It should however be done when the time is appropriate, but yes, by all means as you say, and for so many people it is good works that are required and that is wrong.
Yes, good point you make.
