Please pray for me. I found something online yesterday that truly upset me. Here is the situation - I have a 21 year-old nephew. He is pretty spoiled and is a "Mommy's boy". His parents have always handed him everything on a silver platter and he is used to getting his way. Well, a few months ago, I gave birth to my 2nd daughter. She wasn't due until January 15th. But, she came early and ended up being born on December 23rd. Well, this nephew's mother is the one who came to watch my other daughter (who was 16 months old at the time) while I was having my baby in the hospital. She had to stay at my house and watch my baby and got snowed in at my house and was unable to get home to her house until late evening on Christmas Day when I came home from the hospital with my new baby. Well, anyway - My nephew has been talking on Facebook (I read it on his Facebook wall) about how this "ruined his Christmas" and how he "hates my 16 month old for doing this to him at Christmas!". He is mad because he had to wait until December 26th to open his gifts! (tragic huh? LOL) It wasn't my baby girl's fault that I was in the hospital! My SIL (his mother) does not know that he has written this stuff online. She doesn't get on Facebook like I do. Anyway, I am not going to mention anything to the family. It is clearly a matter of him being spoiled and not knowing how to set priorities in life. But, my prayers are that you all help me to get over the hurt that this has caused to me. I have to be around this nephew at all family events. And it will be hard after seeing what he has written about my daughter. Thanks.
