On the day Jesus died, the Creator cried, for His Father us all to forgive.
And because of this cry, both you and I, through grace might eternally live.
Creation cried out, leaving no doubt, that to this world the Savior was sent.
The sky so bright, turned dark as the night, and all of the rocks were rent.
The curtain came down, And entrance was found, for all who would take time to heed,
Mercy so free, for the transgressor you see, and grace for the time of need.
Conviction came in, to a heart full of sin, and a soldier was heard to cry out,
In a voice loud and clear, for all to hear, "This is God's Son no doubt."
