    "What Could One Do?"

What could one do, with just one shoe, is my question for you today.
If you'll take a look, back through the Book, this shoe has a lot to say.

It tells one who was birthless, that she was worthless, and unwanted by her kin.
But if you look my brother, it speaks of another, more than willing to take her in.

This shoe made everything legal, leading to the birth of a regal, from the womb of a Gentile you see.
Now just what did one do, with just one old shoe, and the regal that was born, who was he?

In the book of Ruth there is a story tis true...

The will of the Lord, the ceremony of the shoe....

Ruth and Boaz.... with one shoe?

How could it be, and what did they do?

Of a gentile was born, and we are not forlorn...

    .... our Savior's line contained such a non-jew....

    Famous Amos my dear friend,
It appears that you are right again.

In this story it does seem,
One old shoe gave right to redeem.

And the regal found here in my story,
Was King David, in all his glory.

It was through this linage Christ came to earth.
The King of Kings, in His lowly birth!

Its GOOD to see you here after so long,

    PastorMike from Tennessee!

I've wondered, where have you been, friend?

Don't you know I've been missing thee?
    My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16

"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)
