What would you say is the next big thing that's most likely to happen in these times? Will it be political breakdown, collapse of the dollar, chaos in the streets, famines, earthquakes and volcanoes, war even? Or will it be business as usual? Will nothing at all happen?
What do you think and what is your sense of things?
I say again, for anyone reading this thread a day, a week or a month from now, this is a speculative thread not a thread of facts. It's about what people's guts are saying and not about what will happen.
(imho) I believe we have only seen the beginnings of greater turmoil’s. In the short term, things will get very much worse in most all the above and particularly economically and politically.
The transfer of nations sovereignty will greatly increase, and will cause massive protests.
Lawlessness, the threats of war, and particularly the threat of BRIC soon becoming the main new world influential power, will hasten the need and speed for the new world order to come into full force.

We have already seen a lot of this so far this year. I'd agree it's almost a given it will escalate.

Never thought of it like that. You think BRICS is a threat to the NWO? I ask because it seems that chaos is the name of the game with the NWO backers, and BRICS certainly has the potential to cause a lot of panic and fear (if not chaos itself).

It certainly is a threat, but whether or not it is a genuine threat I don't know.
(imho) I see it as one of two things:
Either there is a struggle going on for who is to rule the world, or it is going to be used as a 'third way' for the NWO.
There are large numbers who are opposed to there being a NWO, but if face with the choice of BRIC or the NWO, who would they choose?
BRIC = loss of sovereignty and loss of human rights
NWO = loss of sovereignty, but may keep human rights
I don’t think we are at the point in which a great war will break out any time soon. Also, I don’t think Israel will attack either because they know they do not have the USA to back them up. I really believe Obama will keep his distance if this happens, and with the election approaching in 2 years I just don’t see us jumping into or supporting another conflict.
I would think world leaders are watching the shrinking wealth of the USA and they know we cannot keep our large military budget for much longer. They would rather see us shrink from within than assault a military front against us. I can only imagine that our bases in foreign countries will have to be scaled back.
The new currency values will be a big adjustment for many in the industrialized countries. It will defiantly make it harder to make ends meet. This will spill over into some segments of the population where violence will escalate. History has proven time and time again where there is extreme poverty, people will revolt. This will take much more time to come to fruition.
I think we will see a decent size hurricane soon because it is that time of year and it has been extremely hot. If one gets loose into the gulf then it will be strong. Of course we have the 9/11 anniversary coming soon so it may be some pockets of violence form al-Qaida.

“To preserve the government we must also preserve morals. Morality rests on religion; if you destroy the foundation, the superstructure must fall. When the public mind becomes vitiated and corrupt, laws are a nullity and constitutions are waste paper.” – Daniel Webster, 4th of July, 1800, Oration at Hanover, N.H.

Well, it seems like the world is on the verge of a full-scale war. There's the Arab Spring, the longstanding Korean War, Thailand-Cambodia conflict, territorial disputes among China, Vietnam and the Philippines, the constant verbal skirmishes among China, Russia, Iran, and the US. Throw in the Palestinian's bid to statehood in September and all hell breaks loose.
Brazil Russia India China, four rapidly growing economies.
1Jn 4:1 NKJV Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1Th 5:21-22 NKJV Test all things; hold fast what is good. (22) Abstain from every form of evil.
Actually, now it's BRICS - the "S" for South Africa.
South Africa isn't nearly growing as fast as the other mentioned countries that are part of this group. We will most propably see negative growth in the near future with all the presures on this country, especially if the American dollar collapses...
What I do see is this mentioned countries that are part of this group, investing hugely into African countries like South Africa. South Africa might end up owing other countries more than it gets, more pressure on the taxpayers that are allready milked to the limits. South Africans in the near future in parts of the country will pay an extra 40cents per kilometer tollmoney on the raods. The price of electricity scyrocketed the last year and a half. And the goverment are talking of an extra tax on the rich to uplift the poor(if that will help, it will only uplift the corrupt rich as always... )
