Are women better looking than men?

Re women's beauty we are told:


Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

Re male beauty, the only example I can think of at the moment is Lucifer described as thus:

“You were the signet of perfection,

full of wisdom and perfect in beauty ...

Your heart was proud because of your beauty;

you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor.

I cast you to the ground ...''

Ezekiel 28:12, 17


Thus, it appears female beauty is exalted, male ''beauty'' or the pursuit thereof condemned.

As a male, I much prefer that it stay this way.

When it comes to the issue of female beauty, I have always found it fascinating how women admire glamorous beauty, whereas men much prefer natural beauty. Just compare these photo:

As is usual, women consider the glamor photo to be more compelling whereas men prefer the ones without the makeup. Well, to each his/her own!
