Isaiah 44:6 - Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.
Isaiah 48:12 - Listen to me. O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last.

Revelation 1:8- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is , and which was , and which is to come , the Almighty
Revelation 22:13- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
(...but this is YHWH talking right? Well...actually... yes..., according to Isaiah 44:6, 48:12, and Revelation 1:8 the First and the Last is YHWH)
Now, take a look at Revelation 1:17.
Revelation 1: 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not;I am the first and the last:18 I am he that liveth , and was dead; and, behold , I am alive for evermore , Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death
Clearly this is Jesus speaking in Revelation 1:17, saying that He is the First and the Last. Now let's review...
In Revelation 22:13, the First and the Last says that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
In Revelation 1:8, the First and the Last is also the Beginning and the ending and the Almighty.
In Isaiah 48:12, the first and the last is the one who called Israel,
in Isaiah 44:6, the First and the Last is the only God, YHWH of Hosts, Israel's Redeemer and King, and YHWH, ( LORD)
So logically, Jesus is calling Himself God when He calls Himself the First and the Last in Revelation 1:17.
3. Why did Jesus call the Father His God?
So why did Jesus call YHWH his God?
Because Jesus is not only Diety, He is Deity Incarnate.
Philippians 2:5-11-Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
So Jesus is not inferior to the Father, ( as demonstrated by points 1 and 2) it is just that within the Godhead, He is submitted to the Father in His role as Saviour and Redeemer of men. ( as demonstrated in point 3)
1. Arians deny Jesus' true Deity.
2. Gnostics deny Jesus' true humanity.
3. The Bible teaches that Jesus is both Deity and human. Fully God and fully man.
