Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry

Does anybody still watch The Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry? I'm not talking about the new ones, i'm talking about the ones from the 40's and 50's. I'm 22 years old and I still find them hilarious.

No, but here's a cool fact for you. Do you know today is Fast and Furry-ous Day? Today is the anniversary of the first Road Runner cartoon's debut in 1949. What does that mean? It means Wiley E Coyote and the Road Runner share the same birthday! :-)

I love those old classics. Among my favorites are the chase scenes between Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, as well as Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. The thing is, you would think that, after all this time, that poor coyote would figure out that the gadgets he keeps ordering from Acme don't work and send them back for a refund. Or, at the very least, write them a nasty complaint letter. Just an observation, for what it's worth. God bless, and have a great day in the Lord!

Those were my favorites too, plus Jonny Quest - the original series. My wife got me a boxed set of the entire series on DVD a couple of years ago. Still enjoyed it again after all those years. But wow would that be politically incorrect today!

I had forgotten all about Jonny Quest. Talk about a blast from the past. I also like Space Ghost. Remember that one? If I remember right, they had a new version of that on Cartoon Network not too long ago, in a talk-show type of format. Gods bless, and have a great day in the Lord!

Two of my favorites. Watched them every Saturday morning growing up. Toons aren't as good as they used to be, IMHO.
