Human beings and unconditional love

Is it possible for a human being to love another human being unconditionally?

Or can only Jesus do that?

I was thinking about marriage covenant, and how two profess their love to each other in "sickness and health." But even still, if one cheats, what then, right?

Yes, it's possible.

I don't have children but I have to say that I love my family and wife unconditionally. Would I be around my wife if she were a serial killer? No, but I would still love her and pray for her. The funny thing is that Jesus loved everyone like Dani loves her children and I love my wife and family. He didn't even need to know them well. As long as they were human, he loved them with no end. I pray I can get to that point.

unconditional love for a time is possible, but perfect love towards one another is not possible unless God was in you.

This is why it says that the law made no one perfect (Hebrews 7:19). It it were possible to love one another perfectly without God, then we wouldn't even need Jesus die for us.

There is a verse about this I really like... "“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15 "
