I need a hug.......

Our 22 year old cat Snuitje died last Sunday............ and I miss her sooooooooooo much........ makes me want to cry a lot and I did Sunday and Monday........ she was suffering at the end so it's the best for her, but what about me? I had her for 17 years this month........ I miss her laying on my belly which she liked to do and on my bed when they come to wash me...... she'd always meow then because she felt she had to protect me......... there are so many memories......... today we went to the drugstore to get a photo printed from her and it will be enlarged so we can hang it on the wall........ I feel resistance doing that as I don't want that, I want her here with me!!!! We have another cat left, Mr. Nappie, and he's being spoiled with attention and nice food and catcandy........... Charles was talking about adopting a little kitten........ I don't know about that........ I don't want a new cat, I want my old cat back..........

I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious cat. It's going to hurt for awhile. I hope that you can take comfort in the fact that you gave her a good life and a loving home.

Thank you all for the hugs...... they made me feel very loved.........
There are moments in the day that I am smiling again but I still miss her tremendously......... I have a photo of her next to my bed and as my laptop background, and Thursday there is an enlargement ready that we can hang on the wall......... I'm glad we still have a cat left....... I'd go crazy without cat now.......... we're thinking of adopting a kitten in the spring.......... or maybe earlier if Daddy puts one on our way.......... right now I just want my Snuitje back and not a new cat............

Hug hug. While a new cat can never replace a lost loved one, I do vote for getting another. When I have lost a cat, having another one to take care of helped me deal with it. Maybe instead of a kitty, you could get an adult cat (since those are least adopted over kitties). Just a suggestion.
