Yes, the final adjustment seems to occur every 490 years. I believe the formula is available in scripture. Its hard to explain the final part without employing more diagrams so for those who are interested please PM me and Ill provide a link to my published book.

Incidentally, Im a standard evangelical Christian. I dont try to slip in predictions or weird doctrines; promise.

When would the correct starting point for the Enochian Solar Calendar be? Some say Enoch states that the year begins on the day of equal hours which always is the 16th of March. I checked by Jerusalem time and this is so. But there are not 91 days to the summer solstice from that point. It is a week later. Once one gets the start of the year right, then tracking the continuing seven day sabbaths and holy days would be easy. You could peg them off for 354 days.

    Hello Cyberseeker,

I just signed up to this forum just so that I could PM you to get the link to your published book! I am not certain how to do this and wonder if you could help me out.
By the way, thanks very much for the article.

Awesome article. Very interested in this calendar now. I must know how the 2300 days of Daniel relates to this.

Hmmm..., I have been studying this very same thing for quite awhile. Independantly of your thoughts, BTW. I have come up with almost exactly the same thing. What is interesting to me, is that the months are not determined by a "new moon", which is a rather confusing idea to begin with and causes the years to be off from the biblical clues we do have. With Enochs calendar, for instance, Passover will always be on the fourteenth day of the first month, and always on the same day of the week in the Sabbath cycle. There is no drifting in the days.

Some problems I have considered is: 1) There is a solar "drift" through the constellations that completes a cycle in about 26,000 years. This problem means that the "markers" in the stars that would indicate a new year drifts as well, so there can be no set time of determining the beginning of a year over very long periods of time. 2) It seems that using equinoxes to determine new years is a pagan practice, and the Enoch calendar doesn't use the equinox.

I have some in sight into Genesis 1:4-16 that I would like to share with you.

Have you considered the problems above? What is the marker that would determine the beginning of a New Year, in your opinion? You can email me at tedclore at Yahoo dot com, if you so desire. Thanks.

No, the months are not determined by a "new moon." I believe this is because it was a background solar calendar running in tandem with the public lunar one. There would have been temple priest/astronomers aware of the background calendar but, for most people, they would have only been aware of the biblical lunar one.

This is ongoing research for me so I will contact your email. If anyone wants to contact me there is also my website articles here:

This is amazing information, well-presented, and well-researched. Glad to see you've published a book on it. I'm looking forward to reading more of your writing!

Also, I appreciate that you brought in an apocryphal reference. I've read the apocrypha, but never knew if there was anything useful in them, since they're not canonical.

Also - would you consider making your Atonement Clock book available in e-book format? I'd buy it.
