Re: Help me pray for my husband, please.
UPDATE:
Well, we're both worn to a frazzle. They ended up keeping Bill 'overnight', but then they kept him also on Tuesday night and we finally got home today about 5:00 in the evening. On Monday, the doctor put a shunt into the duct where the 'obstruction' was. It turned out the liver duct was not allowing the liver to do its job because it was a 'constriction' problem and not an 'obstruction'. He had more tests on Tuesday and they found cancer cells.
Then today, he had a biopsy. They found a 'mass' atop (or a tumor) on his adrenal gland, 2 spots on the bottom of one lung and one spot on his pancreas. They went in through his back and got the sample for the biopsy. Now we are home, waiting for the results to see where the cancer originated, and how they can treat it. We know already they can't just go in and cut all that out. That means chemo and/or radiation. They just have to see where to start, and they have to start at wherever it originated.
So, we do appreciate the prayers. We really do! May God bless each person who is praying and may He bless each of you DOUBLE for praying for Bill........
My favorite scripture: Malachi 3:16
"Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name!" (Every time we speak of the Lord, or even THINK of him--its written down in a book of remembrance!)
